Overall a good experience.
However the levels of service in the hotel are very inconsistent.
For example, many of the waiting staff at the bar are good, whereas the barmen at the pool were rude and frankly not very good at making drinks. Waiting staff in the restaurants make up a broad spectrum between excellent and lazy.
I wasn't expecting to love the stoney beach but i have to concede it was my favourite part of the hotel, with crystal clear water and drinks served to your beds.
The food is generally good, with a few exceptions. There is a cook who presides over freshly grilled meat and fish with an awful demeanour. He refused to set out freshly made calamari until the last of the previous scraps were taken.

This is our second time staying at the Dimitra Beach. We returned as we loved the hotel, the food and the relaxed pool area and amazing staff that made the trip so enjoyable. A massive thank you to Stellios, Rafaela and the lifeguard at the main pool area who made our stay so relaxing and enjoyable.

Schönes Hotel, wir hatten einen Bungalow direkt am Strand mit schöner Terasse und Sonne liegen. Zimmer mit Bad war relativ klein aber alles was man braucht, war vorhanden. Sehr sauber, jeden Tag wurde super gereinigt. Personal war sehr nett und zuvorkommend, essen war immer lecker und vielfältig. Ideal als Ausgangspunkt für Wandern und Touren über die Insel.

We stayed for two weeks and had a perfect holiday. The wheather was fine and our chamber with fantastic view to the sea. For us it was the fourth stay at Dimitra Beach Hotel and we enjoyed again the high level of the services in the restaurants and the bar.

Een zeer plezierig verblijf. Hotel en eten waren erg goed. Schoonmaak zou beter kunnen Mede door de uitstekende verzorging van Armanda en Armando bij het buffet restaurant, was het een vakantie om met plezier aan terug te denken

The Dimitra Beach Hotel is worth visiting. The view from every place in the hotel was amazing, the sunbeds were very comfortable, the water in swimming pools and sea was clean, the food was good and the staff was polite (except the main bar where we felt like intruders). Special thanks to Anastasis and Thomas for being very professional and positive - you did more than we expected. Unfortunately there were also cons in the hotel - our room was near the road and to be honest for us it was too noisy, there were keys to the room instead of cards and there was a lot of stairs. I’m not sure if we want to return to this hotel, but we don’t regret that we spent our holiday here.

Voor ons was dit een van de eerste ervaringen met vakantie vieren in de vorm van “all inclusive”. En moeten zeggen een wel hele positieve ervaring. We zaten in luxe accommodatie Dimitra Beach. Wel beetje afgelegen van Kos-stad (7 km) maar was prima te doen met normale fiets. De fietsen waren gehuurd bij Moto Harley. Deze komen je op de eerste huurdag gewoon met de auto ophalen en brengen je dan naar de verhuurlokatie in Kos-stad. Mooie service. Ook gaat er ieder uur een bus naar Kos-stad (2€). Hoewel Dimitra Beach beetje verwijderd is van Kos-stad ligt het wel op een geweldige lokatie direct aan zee met de hele dag zon en op loopafstand van de warmwaterbron “Therma”. Een prachtig wit hotel met eromheen vrijstaande huisjes in een schitterende berg/terrasachtige omgeving met trappetjes, groen, kleurige planten en bloemen. Het hotel is super schoon, het buffet zowel ochtend, middag als avond van goede gevarieerde kwaliteit. We hadden een mooie ruime kamer voorzien van een goed bed, tv, koffie en theezet apparaat, en balkon met uitzicht op zee. Elke dag werd onze kamer keurig schoongemaakt, bed opgemaakt en voorzien van nieuwe frisse handdoeken en thee en Illy koffie aangevuld. Top! Ook de bediening in het restaurant was geweldig. We werden elke dag op onze wenken bediend door Anastasis. Een zeer vriendelijk persoon met een heerlijke dosis aan humor. Super! Ook de receptie was een en al vriendelijkheid en behulpzaamheid. Kortom, een geweldige kennismaking met “all inclusive” vakantie van TUI op het Griekse eiland Kos bij Dimitra Beach. Als je het niet erg vindt om een stukje van Kos-stad af te zitten, dan is dit hotel een echte aanrader. Heerlijk relaxen op een fraaie lokatie direct aan zee, met zwembad, strand, zee, heerlijke zwembad- en strandbedjes, zeer vriendelijk personeel, heerlijke cocktails, goed eten en super schoon en ontzorgd door TUI.
