Aspro Spiti

Basic but super friendly family run apartments - AC is 8Euros a night - plenty of sunbeds - there was a nice mix of Europeans and ages. Great little pool side snack bar with very reasonable goods - massive supermarket next door and the beach only a short walk away The host, Popi and her mum and daughter all super helpful they even have a sweet Bichon Frisé which scared the stray cats away. Lots of restaurants a short walk as well so everything you could need in a great location if you like it quiet - but easy to get to Kos Town on a bus or hire a vehicle too!

Just returned from 11 days at Aspro Spiti and loved it. Spotless comfy beds and pillows and really spacious accommodation. We stayed in Jasmine apt set in pleasant courtyard with shrubs and flowers. The pool area and beds also good and location at the top of the ***** excellent. The owners and staff so hard working and friendly would definitely recommend!

Myself and best friend have just returned from a wonderful week at Aspro Spiti , I had requested a room with the morning sun and they were very accomodating. We stayed in room 12b on the first floor, our room was very spacious with very comfortable beds. It was cleaned every day except Sunday when the lovely cleaning ladies get a well deserved day off. We had a kettle (great for our morning cuppa) fridge and 2 ring hob, we really couldn't fault it. The air conditioning worked great although there is an extra fee but this is common in Greece and we expected it. The pool and bar area are lovely. We stayed half board, but most people seemed to be either bed and breakfast or self-catering. The food was really lovely and the drinks were a very good price. What really makes this place so good is the extremely friendly owners Nico and Poppi plus all the ladies who work behind the bar. Also we met some really lovely other fellow guests whom we would sit and chat with every evening, which really made our stay so wonderful. Would we return to Aspro Spiti again most definitely

Paul Mclaren and Angela George 08/06 - 22/06 Just finished our first week and wanted to say what a little gem this place is in the laidback resort of Tigaki. Fabulous family run apartments and wonderful hosts. The rooms are spotless contrary to other reviews and are cleaned 6 days a week by fantastic friendly maids. The beds and pillows are the cleanest and most comfortable we have had in Greece. The towels are not old dirty and grey they are new olive green and charcoal grey which I prefer to a white towel that goes off white. There is hot water at all times and the shower is good. Toilet paper is provided. There is soap in a dispenser in the bathroom and a hairdryer. Washing up liquid and a sponge is supplied and replaced after each week. Plenty of clothes hangers. The kitchen has a 2 ring hob, microwave, fridge with a freezer compartment and kettle. There are plenty of utensils and cups for self catering. The WIFi is excellent in your room and all areas. Air conditioning and a safe are available. The pool area is clean and the pool is spotless and large enough for doing laps. The pool bar offers a varied selection of food and drinks, very tasty and reasonable prices. A large draft beer is €4!!!! We emailed our hosts prior to arrival to request a first floor room due to illness and they were happy to help. If you did have any problems at all just speak to them and they are happy to assist. Just next door is a supermarket with a bakery that is the cheapest we have ever had in Greece within a tourist area and they sell everything you could ever need. There are plenty of bars, restaurants and shops on the 15 min easy flat walk to a wonderful sandy beach. Bus stop to Kos town just outside apartments €2.30 each way. The “cockroaches” as mentioned in a previous review are actually a May Bug. Completely clean and harmless, you often see them in walks around Greece as they are most often upside down wiggling their legs as they are a bit stupid!!!! Transfer time to Tigaki is around 30 mins on transfer bus or quicker by taxi. The airport is new and organised with no long queues. We will add to this review when we have completed our trip but without hesitation we would return. Thank you to everyone at Aspro Spiti for all your hard work!

This is a basic hotel. If yo do your research you already know this and do not expect too much. We were the first users of the room after a winter closing. We had on the first day some cockroaches and were give a spray. To be honest after 2days we did not see them anymore. But the start wasnt great, also the pool wasnt ready on the day of arrival. The pool is a big one and the bar with it is nice. A hughe plus are the owners, very fiendly and evry day availble. Located at the end of the main street only 12 minute walk to the beach. If you look for a simple hotel for a good price on a great location this is the place to be.

Basic but clean apartments. 2 rings a kettle and fridge. Lovely pool area and pool bar. Family always on hand if needed. Location ideal at the top of the ***** with marge supermarket next door which has a bakery in it. Very comfortable sun loungers and pool is easily accessible with steps as well as ladders. Would certainly recommend. Thank you for a lovely stay
