Sunshine Hotel Tigaki

The hotel is lovely. Great modern design, great staff, very friendly. The rooms are beautiful, modern and new. We had the swim up private pool and absolutely loved it, the only time it's been in our budget. The bed was comfy and the air con was so appreciated. We had tea making facilities, though no coffee or milk, just tea and sugar. We bought our own milk from the supermarket which was really well stocked and only a couple of hundred meters down the road and had taken our own coffee as we're very particular! The shower isn't the greatest pressure but we managed. The patio door had voiles for daytime privacy and both the patio door and bathroom window had fly screens meaning you could leave both open for a much appreciated through breeze. The safe was included with the room . The food was delicious, mainly all home cooked I'd say. Sadly there was a lot we couldn't have as we're both gluten intolerant but we enjoyed what we could have. Now for the negatives. Sadly the mixer drinks at the hotel were very poor - flat and VERY sweet. Not at all refreshing. I don't drink wine or beer so we found ourselves going out for drinks most nights, meaning we spent A LOT of extra cash! We also bought cans of coke for the room so drinks through the day were much better. My husband enjoyed the draught lager and there were plenty of people drinking the wine so they were good. We had to ask for gluten free bread as it wasn't left out and Sadly this often took ages to arrive meaning we had to wait to start our breakfast. Breakfast for us was quite limited, but lots of choice for normal bellies! There are cats EVERYWHERE! Not just at the hotel but all around town. They're not ferocious, in fact quite friendly but they come into ALL of the restaurants begging for food - they just sit and stare at you! I got lots of insect bites mainly on my lower legs. As I said that wasn't just at this hotel. I think the town needs a neutering programme! I would recommend this hotel to others and have already but only if the have no dietary requirements and only drink beer or wine! Oh and like cats! Thank you Sunshine Hotel. 🙂

Booked a swim up room which is a must :) they are really good rooms. Also it was our wedding anniversary and they decorated our room, such a lovely touch. Our flight back was late in the evening and we asked to do a late check out that cost us €40, to stay until 6pm, our transfer was around 8:30pm, and they allowed us to use everything including bar and restaurant until the last minute, bare in mind they don’t need to that because we already checked out. The only downfall is the lack of air con in the restaurant, we catch a heat wave and was unbearable inside or outside to grab some food and I was expecting to have more traditional food, was not a lot of variety in foods through the days. The staff: cleaners 5 stars, absolutely amazing always with a smile and super friendly, the same applies to the restaurant staff and kitchen super friendly. Reception: always very helpful, smiling and amazing group. Additionally the lady at the pool bar in the mornings, not my cup of tea, spend more time on the phone than take care of the customers, most of the times she was serving us not even looking at us, due to being to focus on her phone, probably that’s why I was avoiding going to the pool bar when she was there. Overall good, but if you want to go there book a swim up room, so quite clean and really good for the price. Thank you Sunshine.

We booked very last minute for a 3 night stay. We were able to upgrade for 2 of the nights to one of the luxury swim up room, which was incredible. Clean, comfortable and everything worked as it should. There was a slight smell of drains coming from the bathroom, but with the door shut and air con on it wasn't a problem. The main hotel block room was noisier, but was still the same standard of room. The food was OK, there was at least something to eat / pick at, at each meal time. Most of what we tried was nice. Some not to my taste, but to be expected in a foreign country! All inclusive drinks include all local spirits etc, branded are extra, again, to be expected.. So pleased we took a chance on it. Would absolutely go back!

This is a lovely friendly hotel, we had the Delux Double Private Swim room . The bed was so comfortable. Kettle and cups in the room, clean and modern . Staff lovely and always ready to help with anything. Lovely bar on site and a pool table. We stayed in room SP16 and had the sun all day , We really did not want to leave. Beautiful, modern hotel

The hotel is very clean and tidy but the biggest fault is the food ate out at evenings lots of fly round the food the staff was very friendly also th we was all inclusive but had to pay for alcoholic free lager so
