- Leuke shows in de avond.

The main issue was the food. Considering what we paid it was very disappointing. I survived on fish fingers and bread for the whole time. If you make a complaint about something its not followed up. You have paid your money and you are stuck at the hotel. The shop will take your eyes out, €50 for a little bottle of sun tan lotion. I wouldn't return.

We have now visted this resort 7 times and everytime they seem to out perform the last visit. The resort has expanded over the last 10 years with no sign of reducing the quality. We have been there when the resort is a full capacity and it still doesn't seem busy. The food could not be fresher as they grow it on resort, you can even see the farmers harvesting in the early mornings, assuming you can get up after drinking as much ouzo as they can deliver. Only negative I would mention is that over the years the entertainment has been more and more european and aimed at young families, in the early days there were many more game show type shows which got everyone involved. Don't expect a massive waterpark but with so many pools you can find enough areas to either chill or get involved. I would love to see more choices on the drinks menu for the 2025 season as I will be back.

This was our third visit to this hotel, a numbers of years since the last. Although not stunned previously, we thought it a safe bet with young children and knowing what we'd get, and swung by an extended kids pool area since last time. Gutted that having asked Tui specifically to help us find a resort where the pools would still be heated in October, they were all freezing and it sounds like they hadn't been heated the whole season. While the kids could stand the temperature in the pools for short periods we're clearly not made of stern enough stuff. Fortunately the outside temperature meant we weren't desperate for cooling dips. Perhaps being so late in the season (late October), there was a lot of overdue cleaning, some dangerously so - around the edge of the kids pool in the main area, and around the steps into the main pool, the paving was very greasy and slippery, with many kids taking a tumble and lots of tears. We knew the food could be a bit samey, but this time it seemed a lot more so, particularly for the kids. And as usual a number of dishes untouched so a complete waste of food. What is it about Greek hotels that they struggle to design showers that don't flood the rest of the room? We were having to sweep water into the drain in the middle of the floor every time. All it needs is a slight lip under the door. Other disappointments: - cleaner regularly leaving other patio doors unlocked - rooms incorrectly numbered on fire drawing in room - not a great advert for their safety policies - supplies in shop very run down late in season - fridges almost empty - machines for kids in the arcade not working, or swallowing money with no sign of life - tatty furnishings including burnt and torn lamp shades, and sheets too small for the mattress depth so wouldn't stay tucked in The place looks great but look closer and the original areas need quite a bit of TLC, and the pools heating. We won't be ******** on Bleu Lagoon Village again.

We arrived late Wednesday night and by the Friday afternoon my son was seriously ill. The hotel kept telling me he was fine and no one else had been ill but by the Sunday he was in hospital. People were being sick on the beach and in the restaurant. I got sick the day we were supposed to Flynn home and had to take tablets to be able to fly. I think it was the water park as other kids that had been were all ill. We got home and both sons were admitted straight to hospital in the uk with confirmed salmonella poisoning. Even people on the plane home were ill. Honestly the supposedly luxury holiday was the holiday from hell.

I recently stayed at a so-called 5-star hotel and while it had its highlights, the experience was far from deserving of its star rating. Positives: The variety of swimming pools was impressive, offering something for everyone, whether you wanted a lively atmosphere or a quiet spot to relax. Additionally, access to the sauna was free, which was a great perk. The evening shows were absolutely amazing—well-organized, entertaining, and truly a highlight of our stay. Most of the staff, except for the reception team, were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. The all-inclusive restaurants provided decent food with a good variety, adding some convenience to our stay. Negatives: The reception team was shockingly unhelpful. Upon check-in, they claimed to “upgrade” our room. Instead of the sea view room we had booked, we were given a larger room with a view of a wall and an internal bridge between buildings. I was not informed of this switch beforehand, and when I raised the issue, the receptionist's dismissive response was, "I don't understand your problem; we gave you an upgrade." Their lack of empathy or effort to resolve the issue was disappointing. To make matters worse, when moving rooms, I accidentally left a pair of pearl earrings behind. Despite raising the issue immediately, they were never found, and the matter was handled with a lack of urgency or care. Another oddity was the inconsistency in their coffee offerings. An iced coffee with Baileys was free of charge and made with espresso, yet a non-alcoholic iced coffee cost €3 and was made with instant coffee—a baffling policy that left us puzzled. Additionally, there was no iron in the room, and they didn’t even offer an option to borrow one, which was highly inconvenient. Finally, the à la carte restaurants were a complete disaster in terms of taste and quality, which was disappointing considering the price point and the 5-star claim. Conclusion: While the variety of pools, free sauna access, and evening shows added value to the stay, the unhelpful reception staff, missing earrings, odd coffee policies, and lack of room amenities like an iron made the experience frustrating. This hotel may have its nice aspects, but it is certainly not deserving of its 5-star rating.
