Stenna Apartments

This was our first visit to Kos, and we are so glad we stayed at Stenna Apartments. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the seafront with its restaurants and beaches. The apartments themselves are very clean and spacious, consisting of a bedroom, a kitchen area, and a bathroom. Our kitchen was equipped with a large fridge freezer, an electric kettle,an electric hotplate, and various crockery and cooking utensils, The bathroom was small but very clean, and there was always plenty of hot water. The bedroom was very spacious with an air-conditioning unit and patio doors leading to a small balcony. The beds were very comfortable, and there was plenty of storage space in a large built-in wardrobe. We had a ground floor apartment, and there was a very pleasant seating area under a huge vine running the length of the building. It was a lovely place to sit and have breakfast or a drink in the evening and chat with some of the other guests. Finally, I must mention the 2 sisters who own the apartments. They were both so kind and friendly and were always on hand should you need anything. Thank you, ladies, for a wonderful stay.

Our first time in Kos and what a great holiday it was. We were in one of the newly refurbished apartments and it was such a lovely suprise when we opened the door. Very modern, very spacious and very clean. Great location, close to shops, restaurants and the beach. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are cleaned often with fresh bedding and towels. There isn't a pool but there is a hotel close by which allows you to use theirs for free. Overall we had a wonderful stay at Stenna Apartments.

We've just returned from a 10 night stay at Stenna. It's in a great location with the most amazing panoramic view of Kamari Bay from our first floor balcony. Absolutely stunning. The apartments are big and bright with a separate bedroom and kitchen/dining area. All rooms face the sea and the balconies are big with table and chairs. The apartment was spotlessly clean and run by two sisters Dyonisia and Anthoula who are very welcoming and friendly. Beds were very comfy and the rooms were cleaned three times a week with fresh bedding and towels each time. The kitchen was what you come to expect in a Greek holiday apartment with a kettle, a twin electric plug-in cooking ring, some basic pots and pans, crockery, cutlery and a large fridge freezer. Pretty much the basics of what we needed. The building and grounds are kept immaculate with well-tended gardens and a lovely vine-covered terrace with excellent table and chairs where one can sit and have breakfast in the shade. It looks like the two sisters do pretty much everything there because on the day after we arrived one of them was outside, painting the wall between the apartments and the neighbouring property with whitewash. They also appeared to take turns with the washing and drying of all the bedding an towels. all done in-house. We'd have no hesitation in staying at Stenna again. Thanks ladies :-)

Spacious and clean apartments in a good location. Close to shops, bars, and restaurants. Uphill walk to the village but there is also a bus stop 10-ish minutes away which you can use to get into the village - there’s also buses that go into Kos Town (€5.20 each way) which I thought was really good. Something to be aware of is that mosquitoes and bugs are very prevalent in these apartments but that’s just because of the area - I woke up with lots of bites after the first night so would definitely suggest sleeping in bug spray and spraying the beds and rooms with bug spray whenever you leave (I did this after the first night which made a noticeable difference). The apartments themselves are cleaned every few days which was nice and helped to prevent bugs. I did encounter a few problems staying there, though, which I feel is worth mentioning… When you arrive, you are not greeted by a person but by a whiteboard stating your name and apartment number. My name wasn’t on this board but luckily somebody staying at the apartment came out to help me by calling the owners. This issue was quickly resolved but obviously inconvenient and worrying since I was there alone and wasn’t sure whether I would actually get into my apartment. I also plugged in the stove on my second night which switched all of the electricity off throughout the apartment. I had to search through online reviews to find a working phone number that I could contact the owners on. This issue was resolved really quickly once they were made aware. It’s an extra €20 to keep use of your room until 4pm and €25 until 8pm which I think is a bit steep considering that there is nowhere else to store bags. Definitely factor this charge in if your flight time is later on in the day.

Stayed here at the beginning of september apartments are clean but basic . The sisters who run the Stenna are very welcoming and friendly ,Stayed here a few years ago with my late husband apartments have been refurbished since then , Am hoping to return for 3 weeks next year

Lovely family run place . Simple but clean great view over the gsrden and the sea . A Pair of sisters run the studio apartments. They are very friendly and will sort things if you have a problem . 5min walk to the beach and local shops and restaurants . There's no pool or bar but the local hotels allow you to use theirs . Free wifi in your apartment. Its a lovely base to go explore Kefalos
