Fili Hotel Apartments

We stayed for 6 nights in July 25 Half board the food was excellent you order off a menu all freshly cooked After reading reviews on location was a bit worried but not sure what people are on about a very short walk down the road there is a bus stop yo take you to tigaki and Kos the timetable is on the bar The sea front is down the road also you can use the sun beds from Kos palace for 6 euro and use there toilet and cafe Bike rides are very popular also you can hire from Fili I only gave 4 stars due to the Internet it's only available in the reception area

Hotel was lovely & clean, cleaners always did a good job & provided fresh towels every other day. Staff at hotel were very friendly and would provide you with anything you need I.e hairdryer, support hiring bikes etc. There are plenty of sunbeds around the pool, although it did get slightly busy towards end of our holiday as the school holidays started. Only thing that we felt let the hotel down was the showers, water temperature was either boiling hot, or freezing cold & despite our best efforts at moving the tap slowly we could never get it at a good temperature - other guests and family also had the same issue so wasn’t just our room sadly. The temperature was so hot and temperamental that I’d worry it would burn a young child if unsupervised in the shower. Food & drinks around the pool bar were lovely and not too expensive and hotel was in easy access of the bus stop to visit the local town and kos town. Greek night was great fun & staff very attentive despite large amount of people attending. Overall a lovely stay, just let down by the shower temperature.

Amazing hotel, bus is only an 5 minute walk away from the hotel entrance and is very reliable, is also in a great location as tigaki is only a short bus ride and has loads of things to do e.g. water sports, bars, beach - the only thing that let down this hotel for me was the WiFi and internet connection which was terrible but apart from that I do 100% recommend this place

Came here with 8 family members with ages ranging from 55 to 84. Didn't know what to expect, but we were more than pleasantly surprised. Rooms could do with a little updating, but then again for the price we paid, there were not any complaints from any of us, rooms cleaned daily, and always clean towels and bedding. The hotel facilities, pool areas, outside seating and location were spot on. We upgraded from bed and breakfast to half board, and can honestly say the food was excellent, with an array of choices from a menu which was a welcome change from the usual buffets you get from other hotels. This is a family run business and you can tell, every single one of them were wonderful, and made our holiday one to remember for all the right reasons. There is a bus stop 2/3 minutes walk from hotel to take you to Tingaki centre, which takes less than 5 minutes to get there. Lovely beach 5 minute walk away, you can hire sunbeds from Kos Palace Hotel a bit further down the road for 3 euros which also has a lovely café that sells sandwiches, pizza, beer etc, very reasonable, and another 10 minute walk from there is a supermarket, happy days. Some family members already rebooking for later on in the year.. Wonderful family run hotel, cant praise them enough. Loved it :)

The swimming pools and setting and pool are amazing. The room was clean and the towels, bedding and bins were changed everyday. The bus stop is 5-8 minutes walk away which takes you into Tigaki centre or to Kos town. The staff were friendly and we kept a room on for 30 Euros with it been a night flight. Also worth a visit is the Ampeli Wine Yard - Traditional Greek Tavern which is approximately 15 minutes walk (not far at all) best book a table before you go.

You are made to feel welcome from the moment you arrive at this family run hotel, the apartments are adequately equipped and of a fair size, ours was on the first floor with a sea and mountain view We stayed B&B and everything is freshly prepared as you order from the menu, lots of variety Greek, continental or full English ,we were looked after by Stergos who after only one take remembered all our preferences and was always friendly. Eleni appears to be the head of the outfit and can help you with anything and everything and does so willingly, she as they all do want you to be happy She helped as with both car and bike hire and the service was prompt and competitive ( the hire car arrived in 30 minutes and the bikes in 10 ) She also made a great cappuccino for my wife every morning and her brother Vangelis was also there to give a helping hand There are two pools of a good size with plenty of lounges cushions and parasols We had our evening meals there 5 out of 7 nights even though we could of eaten anywhere as we had the car and found the food better at the Fili and all at a reasonable price. Apostolis, Dionysios and katerina served our evening meals with warmth and smiles Our room was serviced every day by the very efficient Maria who never disturbed us and did an excellent job In all the places we had stayed we have never felt more comfortable than here Thanks to everyone at the Fili for making our stay such a memorable one Andreas and Diane
