We have just returned from a weeks stay at Blue Nest and what a wonderful stay it was. A simple hotel with a lot of great atmosphere and amenities. George couldn’t do enough for his guests, greeting you in the morning at breakfast but without being pushy, just a simple wave and good morning and checking in that everything was to your liking. We had 2 rooms due to our party’s size and both rooms were comfortable and clean, with towels and bed linen changed and floors mopped daily during our visit. The food served by the hotel was very, very good. A simple continental breakfast with meats, cheese, fruit, breads and pastries, pancakes and Greek yogurt. Evening meal is run in a three course basis for €15-20 and was excellent or you can order from the simpler menu and have gyros, platters, pasta and pizza. You can pay at the bar or build a tab, which we paid daily but I believe some guests paid at the end of their stay. The bar staff were helpful and friendly and the staff in general wanted you to have a nice holiday. The pool area is fabulous and has sun in different areas all day. There is no morning rush for sunbeds and you could arrive at different times in the day and be sure to be able to get a spot around the pool - our visit was during British school holidays in August. Plenty of pool loungers available so no need to buy any before you go. The hotel is a short walk from the sea front, although the main beaches are down in Tigaki town. A simple beach with no sunbeds is a 10 minute walk but lovely and clean and the water is beautiful, so great if your aren’t all that bothered about getting a sun lounger on the beach. The bus stop to get to Tigaki or Kos town is a 5 minute walk from the hotel and costs €2.30 each way. All of the bus drivers we met were very helpful and friendly. Greek night and BBQ on Wednesday evening was a lot of fun and the food was beautiful. All in all, a very clean and nice hotel with great staff.

The Blue nest is a lovely hotel. While the rooms are basic they are very clean with plenty room for a couple. We had a balcony with a sea view and it was comfortable enough for us to sit and play cards. The views of the sunrise were probably worth the cost alone. The pool was a great size and the beds at the pool were comfortable. The food was brilliant and the evening meal menu was extensive and very tasty. However the real gem of the blue nest are the staff. Every single member of staff was attentive, kind and couldn’t be more helpful. After the first day they knew our drinks orders and were welcome with any issue we had. All in all a very enjoyable stay and can’t wait to go back.

Absolutely magical Staff amazing, George was fantastic, I emailed ahead of our holiday to ask about a kettle, hairdryer (got from reception) and trips which he arranged everything for us, nothing was too much trouble. Pool was fantastic, food absolutely outstanding. 1000% recommend and will definitely return

I don’t often leave reviews however I felt I had to for the Blue Nest. Myself and three friends stayed here half board for the week and the staff were all very friendly from remembering our orders to having drinks with us it all felt very personal. The food was all really good and everything else was well priced. Nice remote quite location close to the beach but only a few minutes by taxi or bus to Tigaki which has plenty to offer. Rooms had exactly what we needed as well. Overall had the best stay and would recommend to anyone to stay here.

There was nothing not to like, this was a good value for money hotel that didn’t pretend to be anything else. From the moment we arrived we were well looked after. We visited at the beginning of July and it was not too busy, with a healthy mix of British, German and Dutch visitors (and others) and a small number of locals dropping by from time to time. The pool area is clean and the pool itself not too cold, as they can sometimes be. A good size meant that it was never overcrowded. In addition, we never struggled to find a free sun-bed. The rooms are good and functional, cleaned daily and a good size. We had a bungalow for 4 of us. The air-con is extra, as is the safe. We didn’t need air-con until later in our stay and it cost us €15. During your stay, if you need to book trips or hire bikes or cars, the team can do it for you. We went on the sunset trip to Zia. Well worth €12 a head! The staff deserve a mention, nothing was too much trouble, the bar is excellent and inexpensive, with nice food esp. the sharing plates, the pizzas are better than a high street chain we have all used :) We also ordered a birthday cake for my son which was delivered on Greek Music night, adding to the fanfare! If we return to Kos…….we may well stay at the Blue Nest again :)

My two sisters and I stayed at the blue nest in June, we had an amazing time, everywhere was very clean the pool was great never crowded. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. Minutes from the beach and a bus stop just 2 euros into the local town always on time. The greek night and bbq on Wednesdays is a must food excellent and the entertainment made our week. I would definitely return

Hotel is small, the pool area is quiet so there are never issues with getting a sun lounger throughout the day. Rooms are clean, well-presented and there is lots of storage. There is only a fridge in the room, no plates/cutlery etc. The reception staff are fantastic, always available to help and trips can be organised from here. Air conditioning is €5 per day, safe use is €1 per day. Breakfast options are quite limited and fairly repetitive, but there is something for everyone. The nearest supermarket is a 15 minute walk away, which isn’t too bad in the earlier morning temperatures. Very close to the beach, but there isn’t much else within walking distance.

What a lovely 5 night stay. Very welcoming and helpful staff and particularly George the owner. Pool area lovely with large pool. More comfy sunbeds would have been nice. Bar and restaurant area very pleasant overlooking the pool. Room were basic but comfortable. Cleaned daily. Location - 5 minute walk to bus stop with regular buses into the centre of Tigaki and beach with good comfy sunbeds - 12 Euros for two beds and brolly per day. Stay on the bus to Kos town (a further 15 minutes) Cost Euros 2 each way. Hotel is a great location if you want to be in a quieter area but accessible to everything. Food in the hotel was excellent on the three occasions we ate here.
