Atlantica Mikri Poli Park (ex Carda Beach)

We had an amazing time – the kids absolutely loved it! The infinity pool was a real highlight, offering stunning views and a perfect place to relax with some great tunes! The food was lovely (fresh pizza’s the highlight) with plenty of variety to suit everyone’s tastes. Staff were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. The room was modern, clean and exactly we needed as a family of 4. The pool was a bit on the cold side but you soon got used to it, the only shame was it was too cold for our 6 month old, nothing a small Paddling pool couldn’t fix. I would recommend that the hotel open up the indoor pool for a couple hours a day for families with small children to use. The entertainment was wonderful – fun, lively, and great for all ages. A truly memorable experience that we’d happily repeat! It’s a shame to see so many negative reviews, most of which feel very picky and does not reflect such a wonderful hotel!

We had a wonderful week at this hotel! I had read some terrible reviews the night before we flew and was extremely worried on our way out. Our flight didn't land till 10.30pm so we were shattered but when we got to the hotel a TUI rep (Scarlet) was waiting to greet us. She was so friendly and told us to leave our luggage at the bottom of the stairs while we checked in. Check in was a tad slow but nothing to make me annoyed. Staff were friendly and we were offered some food and drink which was very welcomed even late at night. A buggy took us to our hotel room which was great! The hotel is built on a hill and there are many steps but I knew this in advance so not a problem! Our room was clean and pleasant on arrival. Our two children had the two sofa beds and we had a very comfy larger than average double bed. We had an issue with our air con but I called reception who came to fix it while we were out. As expected with all inclusive, it is a buffet but food is mainly kept fresh. There are hand sanitiser points on the way up to the restaurant which we made use of. Breakfast tended to be the same but there was plenty to choose from! Tea options changed each evening and I was big fan of Chinese night! There was Indian night as well. Some of the meats did feel fatty and after reading reviews I ensured my meats were fully cooked. On some occasions I decided not to eat the meat I had chosen but it wasn't enough to make me mad. Food was still delicious! You could use the buffet for lunch but we mainly used the snack bars with delicious pizzas, pasta, toasties, ice cream etc. You get two visits to the a la carter restaurants during your stay. One is the Italian and you can choose another. The Italian was another buffet but it was a nice change. We chose the Greek restaurant as well which was delicious and excellent waiter service! We found the staff friendly and approachable. They enjoyed a laugh as well which was nice to see as I feel like some of them were there every day or our holiday! There is a drinks menu at the bar which details what's included and what is premium. There was plenty included, we didn't need to pay any extra. There were kids cocktails which were a hit with our children and I found a love for the HV special cocktail. There are many pools to choose from! The toddler pool was great with toys being brought out at some points which were a huge hit with our youngest. The water was cold but absolutely manageable once you were in. The infinity pool had music playing which could feel loud but it was easy to move to another pool if you wanted peace. There were games and entertainment periodically which the reps put their all into. Be careful in the infinity pool as the steps were hard to see! My husband caught his foot a few times and I saw one lady go under when she first entered as she wasn't aware. Steps in other pools are clearly marked so it would be great if these could be marked out too! The splash park looked brilliant! Unfortunat

We have just got back from a 2 week stay at this holiday village. The staff at the resort were brilliant, friendly and very helpful. The TUI reps were fantastic, knowledgeable about everything, and very welcoming and always find to communicate with you. Nothing was an issue with them. The entertainment team were amazing. From the kids club to the activity team to the evening entertainment crew. The activities and shows put on were top notch and always got the kids (and sometimes adults) involved. They always stopped and spoke to us, at breakfast, by poolside, and even after the shows had finished in the evening. Every activity, kids club, swim academy, football academy, archery, high ropes, activities by poolside, face painting, and just generally entertaining was ran to perfection with every instruction being explained very professionally and in a safe manner. Honestly can’t fault them!!

Received spa treatment today at hotel full bday massage by Savvina. Facilities were lovely great atmosphere and quality professional massage service - would recommend highly :) . Husband is booked in for tomorrow i’m sure he will rate highly also.

As you can see with my reviews, I am not a one off view person. I stay and visit lots of places and like to call places out if they fall short or go the extra mile. Currently staying at hotel and was informed it was €128 to keep the room on for 6 hours, which is an actual joke for families. On check out days to have families just laid out in the main bar area so there is limited room to sit and enjoy a drink. Our bed has only been changed once in ten days and had to ask to the floor to be sweep, after day 6. Most days there is only one staff member in the bar, so today was the same at 1pm. 1 staff member serving both sides of the bar which means longer waits for drinks. I walked away ! Italian restaurant was a disappointment when you see the chef pouring water in the risotto to keep it moist right in front of your eyes. Clearly it was tasteless. The saving grace was the Asian which was very nice and made up for the Italian. I informed the Tui rep today and was told to sit in a different area of the hotel if I don’t like to sit with people laying ground the main bar. Which I found a bit disappointing to be told. I have logged my complaint with Tui as I do not think charging families €128 to have a late check out is reasonable so I would void this hotel in future, if I was a families. On my experience this is a 3 star maximum hotel. They don’t have enough staff to cater for the numbers they have in the hotel, which then creates disappointing experiences for it customers. Again, I useTUI a lot but this place does not live up to the star rating or the 4 star hotel standard.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. My family had a very unpleasant stay here. My son has a serious milk allergy, and despite informing the hotel on check in, absolutely no effort was made to accommodate his dietary needs. This is completely unacceptable and potentially dangerous. The room itself had a strong, unpleasant smell coming from the drains, which made it uncomfortable to stay in. Both of my children ended up being sick and were projectile vomiting for two days during our stay — something I wouldn’t wish on any family while traveling. The food was consistently cold and very repetitive, with little variety day to day. Certainly not what you'd expect from a hotel claiming to be 5-star. Additionally, we witnessed hotel staff arguing in front of guests on multiple occasions, which was unprofessional and added to the overall discomfort. This hotel is nowhere near a true 5-star experience — at best, I’d rate it a 3-star. We left feeling extremely disappointed and let down and will be complaining to TUI.
