We chose the Kos Divine due to its proximity to the town centre and reasonable cost for October, albeit at a time that the resort was winding down for the end of the holiday season. The hotel was modern and very clean with good facilities. We had booked a sea view suite, which had a double balcony overlooking the sea and Turkey beyond. There was no exposure to the sun at all - a pool view room would have a better chance of getting the sun at certain times of the day, but those might be noisier, especially at busier times. The room was very spacious, with a separate lounge area, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom very clean and modern. Storage space was a bit limited, especially for sufficient drawers. All the staff were very friendly and cheerful, which is always a good sign of a well run hotel. Big shout out to Costa, the bar manager and all his staff. He really made us feel genuinely welcome and always developed a great rapport with all the guests, many of whom had stayed at the hotel before. The breakfast choice was excellent in quality and variety and could not be faulted. We didn't have any meals in the evening but food at lunch was very good indeed, and at a reasonable price. The pool area was busy and sometimes difficult to get a lounger at times, even in the quieter part of the season. Overall we very much enjoyed our stay at the Kos Divine and would stay again if we visit Kos again.
