This is a comprehensive Pro's and Cons review. My Husband and I stayed here for 2 weeks in September, we arrived late in the evening but were able to get a drink from the main bar with it being open until 1am. Starting with the rooms Pro's - They're a good size with lots of hanging space, bathroom was compact but always hot water and good water pressure. Beds were comfortable and linens were changed every couple of days and towels daily if you wanted it. Tea and coffee making facilities and a small fridge. Good air-con. We had room 215 which was only a short walk from the main building. Cons - We didn't mind not having the views being closer to the main building but the patio was where you went into your room, small and nowhere to hang clothes to dry, we ended up pegging stuff all over the chairs and then couldn't sit on them. People walking past could see straight into your room unless you kept the curtains shut all the time. Lighting in the room was a bit too dim to see to put make-up on, same in the bathroom. The cleaners started in the rooms above us at 8.20am every single day, dragging furniture across the room, it was so loud you couldn't lie in if you wanted to. We did complain one day but they take no notice. You had to wash your own glasses and mugs in the room (not a problem if you had anything to wash them with but you don't) they were never changed and the sides were also never cleaned. Pool Area Pro's - Lovely big pool although very cold even with the sun on it all day. Loads of sun loungers and parasols, always got one regardless of what time we got there. No cons. Restaurant and Food Pro's - food was always nice, didn't have any bad food. Fresh bread was lovely, proper Greek yogurt and feta. Plates cleared quickly. Con's - Being told where to sit, food was very repetitive repeated weekly. Coffee in a morning you had to wait to be served and when they were busy you were lucky to get one cup. Staff - Always polite to us but we do make an effort. Shop - Expensive and only really crisps, biscuits and drinks. A bottle of wine is 18 Euro's! Entertainment - Daily aqua fit, darts, boccia. Night time is a bit hit and miss, they advertised a dance night which we thought would be Greek dancers and turned out to be the two entertainment girls trying to get people to do YMCA and the macarena, it was only 9.30pm and we're not teenagers. The two singing acts were good, they got people up dancing but be aware the evening entertainment is on for one hour only. At 10.30 it shuts off on the dot, you're then left sat in the bar with nothing to do. Location Pro's - lovely setting up the side of a hill Con's - A 2km walk into the town, there are no bars or cafe's on the way. A taxi was 8 euro's and we were in the car for 3 minutes I timed it! We walked in every day but it did get a bit tiresome, taxi's back were none existent and super expensive. On the whole we did enjoy our stay here but we wouldn't visit this hotel again. It wasn't bad but we wou
