Atlantica Thalassa Hotel

Lovely, clean and friendly hotel. Beds were the comfiest we’ve slept on whilst away on holiday. (We didn’t use the put up bed as the two bed together were huge and the put up bed wasn’t comfortable) Housekeeping was brilliant, room was left clean everytime and the lovely lady was very polite, friendly and my little boy loved the animals she made out of towels for him. We stayed in room 222 and had the same cleaner throughout our stay (sorry I don’t know her name but please pass on our thanks as she was just the nicest lady) she always greeted us with a huge smile. Food was always fresh and of a good temperature. Plenty of variety. Although the pizzas were very cheesy. Drinks (i dont drink alcohol so just soft drinks) were good and plenty of different varieties to choose from. The hotel itself is small, but we loved that. It never felt busy. No big queues for food and we always got sunbeds no matter what time of day. We did like to visit the beach and the charge for sunbeds was reasonable but maybe if this was included more families would use them. Reception staff were always friendly and happy to help. The lady in the shop on site was such a nice lady. I traveled alone with my two children, became ill due to the sun and she helped supply everything I needed to get better within an afternoon. She shown compassion and concern and it felt nice to know she was there if I needed anything. (Please pass on my thanks again) The grounds are well maintained and overall very clean and welcoming. Although the hotel is out of the way we really enjoyed our stay and didn’t mind the 5 minute taxi ride into Kos Town. (Reception happily ordered taxis for us) We would definitely return but maybe in a cooler month as this past week has been extremely hot! As a solo parent I felt extremely safe at this hotel. This is our 3rd visit here and it was superb again. We had a lovely welcome back and were given a great room , the hotel has had an update and the rooms look wonderful. The food was very good and plenty of choice and a good choice of cocktails. The staff all work very hard and all done with a smile and are very friendly. My daughter has the best time here and loves it very much . Big shout out to Charmaine and Kat for entertaining us and a special mention for Zagfira who my daughter loves . We will be booking next year as we seriously love this hotel , it’s a special place for us , Thanks to everybody and we look forward very much to seeing you all next year

We have just returned from our holiday here and i must say we didn't want to come home. I want to start with the amazing staff making our holiday very special, always greeted with a smile and really made you feel at ease from reception staff, restaurant/bar staff, cleaners and the two South African entertainers especially the lady Charmaine (if I'm spelling it right. The entertainers never pressured you in to joining in on the activitys but the lady always made sure to make sure you were enjoying your holiday and getting to know you. Location of the hotel is perfect lovely views from every angle, 2 euros for the local bus so easy to get to and from the centre in about 5/10 mins. The pool is lovely and clean and there was always a space for you even when we decided to lay in. Rooms were very modern and we could not fault them, we did have an issue with the drain in our shower not letting the water down quick enough but we went straight to reception and within a couple of hours the maintenance team had been and sorted it. Would recommend the Aegean cruise to the three islands it was an amazing day out! There is a few minor improvements that could make the hotel a five star, such as more bar staff in the evening at the lobby as the queues did get quite long when the entertainment is on and a little more variety at dinner time. But dont get me wrong we always found something to eat and everything they made had taste and was honestly delicious! You could tell time went into there cooking !! They need to upgrade there cocktail variety, as they had about 6 on the all inclusive and loads more on the ones you had to pay for additionally. Finally stop charging for sunbeds on the beach as you need to walk up the road if you wish for a drink down there and local hotels don't charge for sun beds for there guests its within there hotel, so we took a towel down and stayed there for about an hour instead of paying for a bed. Overall loved this hotel, best one we have stayed in yet and we have stayed in plenty, we would definitely return and recommend!

Our third stay here again and absolutely fabulous time.So easy to settle back into the routine the refurbished rooms are even better beds much larger. The restaurant s offer a wide selection to suit all tastes and needs. Special mentions to Marta on reception so friendly and helpful,Anna and Ivana in the Pool Bar and Iranda in thd cocktail lounge always friendly and smiling even when busy. Dionysius of course making sure our food and drink were top notch! Of course a special mention yo Charmaine,Kat and Peter the entertainment staff they worked so hard to ensure we all had a good time always taking time out for a chat. In June, we were on vacation to celebrate our wedding anniversary at the Atlantica Thalassa Hotel. It's a mid-sized hotel, which was a plus for us because it wasn't crowded. There were no lines for food; you could find a table inside and outside. There was a wide selection of dishes, for both meat and fish lovers, and for vegetarians. A big plus is the availability of plant-based milks, almond milk, coconut milk, etc., as well as lactose-free milk. Every day, we could enjoy a delicious gyros baked by the pool. The garden is very beautiful and well-kept, and the beach is just across the street, but unfortunately, the beach is narrow, rocky, and a bit neglected. We didn't use it much. We got a room with a sea view; all the rooms had been renovated, with kettles and tea and coffee sets. It would have been even nicer if a large bottle of water had been left with cleaning every day, not just at the beginning. A very pleasant surprise was that the hotel delivered a bottle of wine, fruit, and a letter of well-wishes to our room on our anniversary day. Thank you for your kind welcome, we recommend the hotel.
