The location is the best in Korcula, right in the centre, with a promenade with a marina in front and the coast/beach next to it. It is a beautiful building from 1912, but what you see in the photos are renders, not reality. The hotel needs a serious renovation in general terms and a cleaning team that cleans thoroughly, not just in general, but every day of the guests' stay. We stayed 3 nights at more than €500 a night, they only made the bed (badly made, I had never seen this in any hotel) and did not clean anything. When we arrived we had to ask for the bathroom soap bottle to be replaced, they were all half full and that gives a very bad image. Dirt, dust, a ridiculously small bathroom, a very used toilet brush at knee height that you can't stop seeing at all times, old towels... it's not a matter of being scrupulous, it's a matter of hygiene, which should be imperative in any hotel and much more so in one like this. The room is nice, but very worn, the walls are covered in stains and scratches. They don't have room service, breakfast is very average and the service is very average, bordering on bad. Honestly, very, very disappointing for a hotel with a privileged location and building, at prices that could well be considered because I really don't know if it's a hotel that can reach 3 stars. The terrace is nice, the common areas such as the interior lounge, reception and cafeteria are old and poorly maintained, with a certain smell of use and little cleanliness. The photos on the website and booking platforms do not correspond to reality because they are renders, or they were taken when it was renovated years ago... L We stayed in the main room and it had a ridiculous bathroom. Shame about the management because Korcula is wonderful and the location of the hotel is optimal.
