Wir waren im obersten Stockwerk des Turmes untergebracht, dieser hat 7 Stockwerke und keinen Aufzug, aber so hat man 1929 eben gebaut. Uns hat es nicht gestört, dafür haben wir uns zugegebenermaßen winziges Turmzimmer mit spektakulärem Ausblick genossen. Die JuHe ist vor einigen Jahren saniert worden, es gibt natürlich auch mehr oder weniger barrierefrei zugängliche Zimmer. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, die Lage ist ausgesprochen schön und das Essen ist gut - in meinen Augen alles was man von einer Jugendherberge erwarten kann. Die Fahrräder werden draußen abgestellt, die Abstellmöglichkeit wird jedoch in der Nacht zugesperrt. Uns hat's gefallen und am nächsten Tag ging es gleich weiter zur Insel Mainau, die liegt mit dem Fahrrad sehr nah.
