We recently visited Taj Bengal to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and our experience was absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and exceptional hospitality. Every staff member we encountered was courteous and attentive, making us feel truly special. A special shoutout to Mr. Sanjib Ghosh, who went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect for our stay. His attention to detail and care made all the difference. A big thank you as well to Miss Shreya for beautifully decorating our room—it added such a personal touch to the celebration. Taj Bengal truly made this birthday celebration a memorable one, and we can't wait to visit again. Highly recommended!

Booked this hotel through Ctrip. From the surprise at the beginning to the surprise later, I was glad to book this hotel. There are no luxurious facilities here, but the imprint of time flows everywhere. It has the memory of this city and witnesses the history of British colonialism. Meals may not be grand, but each one is carefully crafted and masterpiece. The guests in the hotel are from all countries, or the whole family is on vacation, or come here to write ... Next to the Indian Museum, Victoria Memorial ... If you are traveling to Kolkata, be sure to stay at this hotel. i

The room I stayed in was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The bed was comfortable, and I had a great night's sleep. The bathroom was modern and equipped with all the necessary amenities.Overall, my stay at Taj City Centre New Town was excellent and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kolkata.

We were blown away by the beautiful ambience of this Heritage Hotel. The staff from check in to check out were extremely hospitable. Food was delicious. Spoilt for choice at breakfast. Service staff very friendly and helpful. Very central location. Hot water 24 hours a day. Poor ventilation in rooms without windows (upgrade was suggested at check-in for an additional charge). All in all, recommended for the price and for a short stay (we were there for 3 nights). For a longer stay, we would rather pay more for better facilities.

Its easy to found able ! easy check in! the food is amazing! and the view from the rooftop restaurant at night its mesmerising ! amenities are given what they are written over there ! gym is well equipped but minimum charges ! service is good ! security on high!

For budget traveler good option on Park Street and very close to many tourist attractions. Room is good size mattress very hard but OK, bathroom shower not the best very weak water supply. Remembering it’s a 3 star property so on that I give it 4 stars mainly due to location. Also note lot of street noise with car horns, people in Calcutta love blown horn.
