First time visitors to Kolkata and even with a 3.30 am arrival, we were made very welcome. Every member of staff that we met was both friendly and very helpful. Doormen, waiters, cleaning staff and reception staff were all exceptional. Breakfast was a buffet, with many choices and the coffee was very good too. The restaurant food was very tasty and we really enjoyed our meal there. The location was very handy. Easily found by Uber driver too. The street outside requires care, especially at nighttime due to a less than perfect service. A busy area too. Excellent laundry service, quality and good prices. Overall, a very positive experience.

This is a good hotel in a rather rough area (though not the worst by far). It's clean inside and out, the rooms have what you need, and the staff are reasonable about everything. If you have any problem with a room they will move you efficiently. The prices for rooms are good. I ate in the hotel restaurant every night for 10 nights (one or two nights thought it was ok but not great), never got sick. The breakfast buffet is excellent.

The staff was polite. Food was good. The room maintenance was not good. The bathtub had some dead fly wings in it. And the room is very small for the price paid. The bed also had some black dust like spots on it. Overall i will give 3

My Hotel Kempton Kolkata Home
Hotel Kempton was as good this stay as it ever has been. The staff are welcoming and always available to help with any need. They make you feel at home. The food is amazing, from the great breakfast to the amazing choices on the room service menu. I will never stay any place else in Kolkata.

The hotel is ok, but the room service for food is pathetic. They are serving food in the room and the restaurant post guests wait at least 45 minutes to 1 hour. I experienced this during my 5 day stay. Other colleges who stayed with me also felt like this and we are not happy with the hotel staff.
