Hotels in Lamai Beach, Koh Samui

The Hotel staff are very friendly especially Kuant the restaurant manager. The breakfast is very good and varies from day to day. The hotel location is ideal just far enough out of Lamai town to be relatively peaceful but close enough to walk to and from comfortably. Great view from the restaurant overlooking the small fishing boat cove. They’re going to be introducing vegan food to the menu and concentrating on the wellness centre with Yoga classes etc. We stayed 7 days and had a very enjoyable stay. Mint the reservation (GSA) was especially helpful. The first room we stayed in unfortunately, the air-conditioning fan broke and she happily moved us to another room, extremely good service with a smile. The maids cleaned the room and made the beds every day. The Hotel is a little rundown I.e. the decor needs some TLC some of the decking needs replacing which I’m sure will be done soon as it’s under new management.

Booked a beach front bungalow and although not fronting the beach it is fairly close and has a very nice view over the bay. It is a walk up steep steps and then down steep steps to get to the small beach area. This area is good for swimming most of the day but there are some small rocks , which can be avoided. In front of my bugalow is a entry to a tiny beach area but is pretty good for swimming. The rooms are a little tired but, of course, income has been badly affected by the last 2 years. The aircon worked well, hot water via an electric water heater. My room had Netflix. A good size balcony with chairs. Some of the electric outlets were loose on the walls. Due to storms there was a power outage for a few hours on one day. The breakfasts were excellent. Other food was very good, if a little above eating places in the town. The pool isn't big enough for swimming but a good size for kids. Pool towels are provided. The resort is amongst vegetation so you will need mosquito spray when sitting outside. Also, the pond has bull frogs which are loud from 6pm to 6am so ask for a bungalow away from the pool. taxis can be booked at reception and you pay for this at reception. Very good massage two mins walk up the road. Resort staff are very nice and most helpful. Reasonable room rates and so, on a personal level I can recommend. Just do not expect 5 star.

The rooms are clean, spacious and not chaotic. or loud noises disturb your rest Suitable for relaxing. The rooms are inexpensive but breakfast is not included, but you can go off the main road which is not far from 7-Eleven-11 and the market. Can find food easily There is convenient parking. Economical room rates Recommended for those looking for a room with a good price. Come to Future Place Samui.

Very good, excellent. Breakfast is very good and delicious. There is a bar to sit in. The restaurant is decorated comfortably, clean. All staff are smiling and lovely. Every level of service is impressive. I recommend it if anyone wants a comfortable place to stay and a new, clean hotel with parking and a swimming pool. It is in the city, not far from Lamai Beach. Walk 5 minutes to the beach.

On main street has a restaurant with good food and price. Price was higher than expected for quality. Each room has individual showers. Shower includes soap and shampoo lockers included. Air con rooms. Comfy bed with thin but sufficient blanket.

The whole room is very clean, and there are windows inside, which can be simply ventilated, so that the air in the room can be replaced, and the whole air becomes circulated and it is not easy to get sick. And when you live here, you don’t need to pay any deposit, so you can make reservations very conveniently. The whole process is very simple, and the convenience will not allow you to spend a particularly long time on booking a hotel.

A perfect staycation! You literally got everything you need in the resort for 3 days of activities and chill - pools , snorkeling, stand up paddle boarding, yoga and more! Best resort experience ever. The exchange of exclusivity is this resort is distance away from the main road and busy districts, but the shuttle service or grab will get you to wherever you want to go ( p.s. transportation is expensive in Koh Samui

Beautifully sea views. Breakfast lobby, pool and four poster sun beds were on the beach front. An appreciative sunny view whilst eating breakfast. The room was clean, presented nicely with all the necessary facilities needed. Large balcony with view of the leading road to the reception. Staff were ok but could be more attentive to guests. Although I take my hat off to Pung who always greeted me, welcomed on arrival and exit. During my stay he was the most kind staff member as a lone traveller. The hotel is located in Lamai a quiet area which was perfect for a working holiday. Walking distance to shops and some food places. Highlights were Cantina and Rock Reggae bar!! Great food, good drinks + nice welcoming atmosphere. Definitely do some boat trips to near by islands. Highlight was Nanguan clear sea + so many fishes to see whilst snorkelling 🐠.

The hotel is in a very good location. The beach is very fine. The bar is facing the sea. The view is good. The hotel is relatively old. It is well maintained. The price/performance ratio is good. The night market is right next to the hotel. It is very convenient to eat. The commercial street is very close to the hotel. It takes about 5-10 minutes to walk. There are many massage shops. It is very convenient. The sea food night market is very good. It is recommended to go here for dinner. The hotel manager LYN is very good. When checking in, he personally introduced the hotel room facilities, bar, swimming pool, etc. Very nice. The other managers of the hotel are also very good. Generally speaking, it is a hotel with good price/performance ratio. The hotel is very beautiful to watch the sunset at night and the sunrise in the morning

Our overall experience was outstanding, even as we encountered a few unforeseen challenges. On our second night, our beachfront BBQ plans were thwarted by the weather. The staff's quick thinking and adaptability came to the forefront as they seamlessly transitioned the venue to an indoor space. The speed and willingness with which the entire BBQ setup was moved indoors showcased the dedication to providing the best service possible. Moreover, on our third night, the pool bar staff went above and beyond by suggesting a private beachfront dinner to make up for the previous night's interruption. Though this well-intentioned plan was again impacted by the weather, their commitment to ensuring our satisfaction remained unwavering. What truly set this experience apart was the unwavering dedication of the staff. Their warmth and attentiveness overshadowed any inconveniences we faced. The restaurant and bar team, led by K. Woody, Honey, and Ken, consistently exceeded our expectations. Their personalized service made us feel genuinely valued as guests. The culinary journey, particularly the breakfast led by Executive Chef Chef Seng, was a delight. Despite the aging signs of the facilities, the culinary offerings maintained an impeccable standard. The coconut water coffee, and Samui Egg Benedict were exceptional, showcasing Chef Seng's expertise in curating a blend of local and international flavors. In summary, my stay at the Renaissance Koh Samui was a testament to the power of exceptional service to transcend the limitations of aging facilities. The resort's captivating fusion of architectural styles, the embracing of its environment, and the staff's dedication created a memorable retreat. The team's responsiveness, especially during weather-related interruptions, demonstrated their commitment to guest satisfaction.
