Hotels in Chaweng Beach, Koh Samui

Stayed at the beach front villa with direct access to the beach . It’s the best type of accommodation of all the rooms that the hotel offer. The staff really takes care of the beach. They smoothen the sand out and clean the beaches every morning. You wake up to a clean litter free beach. That’s really the bonus. However being so close to the beach, there is always people sitting infront of the villa. Less privacy and distracting the view. There is a block of water right at the steps before you enter the villa. That’s a very nice touch to clean and wash off sand before going into the villa and avoid too much sand in the room. Another good bonus. Another nice touch, clean towels were provided after every two days The front porch was good to hang out and chill. It was also good pls to dry wet cloths as there is not enough hooks and hangers. We were happy the villa comes with a bath tub. In general the entire villa is a lil rustic but it’s clean and still good condition The location is away from the noisy street which was good but it also means there is only a few restaurant/ shops option nearby. It still works for a short beach getaway. The water is pretty calm and shallow. Not much to see during snorkeling but it’s still fun to see fishes. The view of the beach at night is pretty and has a touch of Italy with all the lights on the hill. Overall a good experience and lovely stay

We really liked the hotel, the service was amazing - they congratulated us on our honeymoon and surrounded us with care:) The location on Chaweng is super, there are very few people around, since the main hotels are far away. Lovely pool. Breakfast is simple but tasty. We took a two-story room - there were no questions. This is not 5 stars, but in terms of price-quality ratio a solid 5 points. The only thing, since the hotel is small and all the rooms are nearby, the audibility may bother someone.

The hotel is conveniently located (you can walk to the center). Breakfasts are varied. The entrance to the sea is by steps, the water is clean. There are few people in the sea (more precisely, no one), since Europeans prefer the pool. Nearby there is an opportunity to organize active recreation on the water (sapas, kayaks, scooters, etc.). There are many sun loungers (even when the hotel is fully occupied, 2-3 per person). The rooms in the hotel are large and equipped with everything you need. The only sad moment was the check-in, since there was no room with 2 beds (as originally booked). They actively tried to put us in one ... Since it was December 31 and there were no more options for accommodation on the entire island, we had to insist on our booking and find options on the spot. I do not understand why they immediately refused to provide an extra bed, although this somehow smoothed out the situation (since sometimes you want to sleep at night). Let it not be exactly what I wanted to get for the holiday, but they still found and provided an extra bed in the room.

about 10mins drive from airport to hotel. hotel location is good, near to central plaza & chaweng night market approx 10-12mins walk. it's a one way street so not too many cars around. the beach is also less than a minute walk from hotel. stayed at level 3 garden view. night time we could still hear music but it was fine, music was not too loud that we couldnt sleep. door closing from neighbours did affect our sleep though. perhaps soft closing of doors could be implemented. housekeeping staff was friendly too, only that we didnt ask for housekeeping everyday because after our 1st housekeeping, our entire room smell bad it could be due to the mop and cleaning materials used which cause the smell.. breakfast spread was excellent, variety of international cuisine. live egg and noodles station, foods were getting refilled promptly. if you are staying in the hotel around 2-4pm, there's happy hour 1-1. we ordered chicken sandwich as well, it was superb. swimming pool is clean too, many beach bench available, beach towel is available as well.

Recently stayed at Centara for our honeymoon and it was indeed the best hotel we stayed in Koh Samui. Was greeted by Mr Neil and his staff during our check in. We had a really comfortable stay and staff were always ready to assist with any request. Love the idea of “surprise of the day” button in the room, where they deliver different types of chocolate each day. One of the highlights of my stay was the food. We went to salt society restaurant for two consecutive nights as they serve high quality food with big portions. It was also refreshing to try out so many salt flavors for our meal. Overall, my stay at Centara was nothing short of exceptional with their great hospitality. Highly recommend this hotel!

This hotel is in a very good location , the room is clean , but 2 disadvantages, 1. A lot of mosquitoes . 2. The company in the reception floor is a scam , don’t book through them. We booked a taxi for the airport , no one came , and only the reception was there to help us. At the end the taxi didn’t arrive after more than 20 minutes so we booked through grab. I would stay there again , but just notice that

I was placed in a room that overlooked the staff entrance so had the noise of them chatting on breaks and coming and going on their scooters so was a bit noisy. The phone in the room wasn’t connected, so just a prop I guess? The fridge defrosted and stopped working. They replaced this but with a European plug (using my only adaptor). Turns out that the plug port had blown so I had to lose some food and find another socket in the room (could not supply me with a replacement adaptor). The teaspoon was dirty and I had to ask to have a tv provided. The shower wouldn’t work hot. The pressure of the hot water wasn’t enough to keep the valve to feed the shower, open. On arrival I used the “luggage storage” which was just an area where everyone dumped their luggage (open plan next to reception) when I came back to check in, my rucksack wasn’t there. It was erroneously taken with another guests luggage. My passport and cash/cards were enclosed so luckily they managed to locate it. The hotel is a bit dilapidated and needs attention. Overall the staff are great and hard workers, the owner clearly lets the place down.

The hotel is very new and just opened not long ago. The design is also good. To be honest, the price is not expensive in Koh Samui. The food is OK. The Cabana at the swimming pool is very suitable for friends to play together. The minimum cost is 8000 Bhat, and you can use two layers of Cabana for a day. Spa is only 1900 Bhat for 90 minutes, which is also surprising. It is much cheaper than other five-star hotels. It is very lively outside and it only takes ten minutes to walk to Central. The mattress is great, the Mini Bar is free, and it is a new hotel of SLH. There are three disadvantages. First, it is very close to the airport and the plane woke me up very early in the morning. Second, the party noise next to me at night probably didn’t fall asleep until four o’clock. Third, the toilet is not separated into dry and wet areas, which is a bit uncomfortable for people with mysophobia. So it is only recommended to people who go to parties and people who sleep very hard. Otherwise, choose carefully!

Excellent location. Beach front hotel and has a small Infinity pool. Breakfast was ok for the price we paid. We had connected rooms for a family of 4. Don't book the street view rooms where it can be noise from the traffic.

Great hotel, clean, close to the sea. We lived in house C6, spacious room, large bed, but consists of 2 beds, 2 separate blankets, 4 pillows of different density, clean, tidy, daily cleaning, change of towels, there are also beach towels that are changed every day and you can ask to change them additionally if necessary. There is a beach bag, flip-flops, if required. There are chairs and a table on the veranda. The only thing I would like is to clean up outside the windows, there are nice palm trees, but for some reason everything is littered. Standard breakfasts, but delicious, they make omelets, the staff is attentive, friendly and ready to help, they clean the area, clean the pool and the beach. Currently, they are building a beach restaurant near the pool, but in general, it was not annoying. The staff look after things on the beach, one day we went for a walk along the beach and left a bag with things on the sun loungers, but it started to rain, upon returning we found our neatly packed things in our bag with the guys near the bar. It is very convenient that there is a 7/11 right next door, the cheapest and good massage, on the rest of the beach it is more expensive by 100-300 baht, there is a fruit stand nearby, which is rare for Samui, since for some reason there were not many fruits. In general, I liked everything, I will come again. We walked to the central Samu in the evening or took a taxi for 100 baht
