Koh Samui Maret Hotels

Great location, quiet place, next to the beach, nice beach, recommended for who are looking for swimming in the sea,I was selected pool access room that was great room, large area with the big bath tub and easy to assess to the pool, in this hotel have 2 swimming pools that comfortable for family or group of friends, staffs all friendly and helpful.

The hotel offered excellent privacy, and the service was fantastic. Staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always greeting us with a nod and a smile wherever we went. The breakfast spread was plentiful and varied; we stayed for three days and could enjoy something different each morning. We also saw small fish while snorkeling right off the beach. Overall, it was a very satisfying trip.

CENTARA life, Koh Samui, Lamai Gleich vorweg: Das Centara Life ist m. E. kein Urlaubshotel, eher ein Business-/Wochenendhotel … ich hatte mich auf ein CENTARA-Hotel gefreut, aber:  Nicht überall wo CENTARA drauf steht ist auch CENTARA drin … es ist irgendwie ein völlig neues Hotelkonzept, Positionierung zwischen „high class“ und „normal class“  … Zimmer dicht an dicht, Balkon einer neben dem anderen, getrennt mit einer dünnen Holzwand … 4 Stockwerke hoch … damit sehr viele Zimmer, die aber sind überraschend groß, sauber und äußerst geschmackvoll eingerichtet … Ich habe ein Zimmer mit großzügigen Balkon … jetzt das ABER: die Aussicht hat nichts mit grüner Natur der Insel geschweige türkisfarbenen Wasser zu tun, ich blicke auf einen Parkplatz, einen großen Strommasten und auf die Dächer von unzähligen Häusern/Hütten … einige von denen wandeln sich abends zu lauten Sport-Bars und Kneipen um … lautes Gedröhne von nah und fern bis weit in die Nacht, nein - bis in den nächsten Morgen … abends sitze ich mit Oropax auf meinem Balkon und versuche zu lesen… trotzdem dröhnt es … im Restaurant des Hotels ist dagegen nichts los … nur gut, dass ich nicht auch noch die vom Reiseveranstalter angebotene Halbpension gebucht habe … der Swimmingpool - klein aber fein … 15 Liegen finden Platz … der tolle Strand von Lamai ist fussläufig in  10 Minuten erreicht.  Unterm Strich: das CENTARA life ist ein modernes Hotel, gehobene Ausstattung, große Zimmer und ich treffe auf ein durch und durch kompetentes Personal; die Umgebung ist sehr laut, ist schrill, lädt zu einem „Massage- und/oder Bier-Marathon“ ein - promenieren, gemütliches Laufen in der in nur ein paar Schritten entfernten Hauptstraße ist ab 19:00 nicht möglich - dicht gedrängter Verkehr inmitten lauter Musik-Bars, Souvenir-Shops und Thai-Restaurants …

My wife and I really liked the place. Everything is clean, neat, despite the fact that the hotel itself is quite old, but this has its own charm. Special thanks to the manager at the reception Miew!!! Miew always with a smile and goodwill helped to solve all the issues as quickly as possible. Near the hotel there is everything you need, where to go and eat. For a quiet, calm family vacation, the hotel is as comfortable as possible.

Amazing resort! Couldn't Reccommend it highly enough! I see the effort of the staff every day with the fruit and water around the pool to all guests and the environment so well kept. They even provide a small treat before sleep on the bed waiting and throughout our stay the upmost care and attention to all needs of their customers. We stayed in the pool villa 2 bedroom style house and it was unbelievable. The Chinese new year spread and events were also very nice as we live in China as expats! Really wish people to pay attention to this resort! 5☆

I booked the pool villa for the first night and the normal villa for the second night. I checked into the pool villa at 7 o'clock that night. When I had breakfast at 9 o'clock the next morning, the staff asked me to move to the normal villa, saying that the pool villa would be available soon. Someone has checked in. Didn't I say check out at 12 o'clock? The waiter has always had a dark face, and he checked in because of the good reviews. As a result, he forced people to change rooms, which made people very upset.

Unfortunately, the yoga instructor was not available, hence, we didn’t get to enjoy the yoga sessions as planned. If only the hotel is contactable and we can plan on other dates. Their reservation email is not working, then how do we get in touch with the hotel? Sent 2 emails and yet the staff said there were no emails received. How strange! The room we were checked in was hot like sauna, and we requested to change the room. The staff said it’s due to the hot weather therefore room is warmer. Rubbish! It’s the AC issue, don’t blame the weather. We were moved to another room but we still need to request for a fan in the room to circulate the cool air. It’s a nice resort but the poor maintenance is a turnoff! We still enjoyed our stay as the staff at the restaurant are very nice and friendly. Overall the resort experience is nice, just the room maintenance was very poor.

The coolest hotel(room) in my 2-month trip around Thailand. (All rooms aren't this fabulous). I just love my baths and had a few free Muay Thai group sessions. - The beach ain't very good - Not enough meat in the breakfast - Water didn't taste good on the glass bottles Anyway, extremely happy end to my vacation in Thailand. ✌️

The location of the hotel is very good. There are many restaurants and massage places downstairs, which are very lively. Special emphasis is placed on the hotel service, which is amazing. This is the best experience I have ever encountered in my travels. The hotel staff Sao is very enthusiastic and helpful in recommending I went on a fishing trip and forgot to pick up the charger when I checked out. Hotel staff Sao contacted me and I told her to go back and pick it up the next day, but she had someone send the charger to another hotel where I was staying. Love it. I highly recommend staying at this hotel.
