Karma Apsara

Had a most amazing 2 weeks at Karma Apsara, the reception, restaurant, housekeeping and management all went an extra mile to make our holiday the best and most memorable experience in Thailand. Credit to Neha, Jeff, Stephen, Klang , Katie & John and all the other resort staff - Thanks for giving us such a fabulous experience; the room had marvellous views of the ocean and the mountains. We also enjoyed the delicious Thai cuisine in the restaurant the best Pad Thai and Satay on the island. The resort is also near a great Mauy Thai gym- Lionheart which enabled my son to train for 2 weeks. Thanks a ton once again We hope to see you’ll soon.🙏🙏🙏

We spent 7 nights here and every single staff member looked after us. However we do have to give a big shout out to Chit, John and Mui, you made our stay so much better and we appreciate all you did for us. We were upgraded to a huge 2 bedroom apartment, given complimentary wine and a delicious cake for our 30th wedding anniversary. The only reason we didn’t rate the resort 5 out of 5 was due to the dinner menu. There was only 3 Thai meals and we felt there could be a lot more variety. Thank you for a fabulous stay and we look forward to visiting more Karma locations in the future.

Late November monsoon breaks into short spells. The farms turns an immodest green. Boundaries blur with papaya and coconut trees laden with fruits. Walls that are sun washed white turn mossgreen. Wild flowers bursting with promises spill across flooded roads. A snail moves lazily in Karma's pool. Ridges of blue mountains rise up to greet the morning mists. Clay colored low roof houses dot the landscape. Laid back, relaxed island vibes. None of the hustle and bustle of Mumbai. Absolute bliss in a Zen like setting. Our BEST stay ever on Koh Samui! A fantastic hotel with panoramic views of Maenam as far afield as the island' approach to the airport. A peaceful area away from the nightlife but easily accessible to a variety of local markets, beautiful beaches, restaurants, massages & the ever popular Fishermans Village. Post pandemic shows a spirit of "island revival" on Koh Samui & is reflected by the staff at Karma Apsara. Pieter Louw, our guest relations head, made our stay a memorable one being extremely kowledgeable as to places to visit & forever engaging Hotel guests. Our breakfast visits were always viewed as a "morning special" from being greeted at the door by Yaya, always smiling & happy to serve his guests. How good a visit was it for us? We booked to return in August 2023!!

Karma Apsara put a stamp on the island. Neha the gm had tantilizing earrings that drowned out the sound of the waves and beemed with guests requests. She greeted us on arrival and set the tone for the rest of the trip. My lighter stopped working so peter provided me with his own so i didn't have to make the one kilometer walk to 7 elven. Jeff hooked up the t20 cricket world cup when none of the channels were airing it... Most other hotels would have come up empty. Steve bolstered the spirit of community through his bingo and quiz. The complementary shuttle to the treehouse was a great way to start the day. Its off the beaten track... And seems like a place that sun never sets.

We had a truly enjoyable week's stay at Karma Aspara. The staff were so accommodating and friendly and always available. We had such a fun networking session arranged by the hotel with the rest of the guests. We learnt a bit of Thai and had some great laughs, this should definitely be a regular occurrence. Pieter, the guest relations person was very helpful , attentive and ensured that we were always taken care of in every aspect including transport, great places to eat and visit. We had the unfortunate experience of a medical emergency but the staff and Pieter were so efficient in getting us help and rallying around us every step of the way-forever grateful to the entire team for this. Hope to visit again someday
