Lamai Buri Resort

Excellent hotel, first we took a standard room, it has no sea view, a regular room to spend the night. Then we took a deluxe, with a sea view. We were already sitting and enjoying the views from the balcony. The room is clean, cleaning every day. The hotel is looked after. It is a 5-minute walk to the beach, through Aloha. There are no animals, bedbugs or any other wild things in the rooms, as is the case in old hotels. Everything is great.

This was our second time here. Quiet location at a fair price. Staff always friendly and helpful.

The hotel is not bad if you normally perceive extraneous sounds. On the balconies there are Konkov, which are very noisy, and the room also had a noisy air conditioner. The system of giving out beach towels is unclear, we never figured it out, fortunately we were not at the hotel for long. The advantages are a good, clean pool. There are enough sun loungers, there is also a bar where you can order delicious coffee and coconut 🥥

The hotel is relatively old, the two kettles provided are broken, the TV signal is not good, and the bathroom is not separated into dry and wet areas. The small restaurant of the Thai chef lady across the road is delicious.

First, about the minuses, because they need to be remembered. Probably the main one - the road is nearby, my windows overlooked the road (I was reluctant to pay extra for the rooms opposite, with an awesome view of the pool and the sea, I decided that I would not be in the room most of the time anyway), hence the noise, the soundproofing of the windows is completely absent. Sometimes even earplugs did not help (but this is rare, only when a crazy motorcyclist decided to show everyone how smart he is by making noise at night). The second minus, of my particular room, was a leaking toilet tank, sometimes I managed to deal with it, sometimes not. But I guessed to tell the staff about it only when checking out. It was annoying, but not very much. That's all about the minuses. Pros and emotions. Let's go. Incredibly friendly and nice hotel staff. The rooms are clean, every day they offer water, tea, etc., if necessary, they will clean the room. No insects were noticed in the room, no ants, no bedbugs, even the geeks didn't brighten up my loneliness) A nice and clean pool, the area is clean and well-kept. Everyone is busy. At night, there is a duty officer, I left the key with him so as not to carry it with me and not to lose it. You can also rent a bike here, but they talked me out of it, since I have no driving experience at all. They also talked me out of it at the rental company) they didn't want me to crash. It's sad, but thanks for the concern. It's about 10 minutes on foot to the sea. I can't say it's close, but I'm not too tired of walking either. In general, if I ever find myself on Samui again, I will most likely stay at this hotel.
