Ban Suriya

The whole experience at Ban Suriya is amazing - Tik and the team looked after our family like we were their own, we spent a huge amount of time at the beach which is a walk through the garden. Relaxing and well worth the time to get there, the food was also a noteable experience with each meal freshly prepared with local produce - we will return 😀

Exceptional in every way, the location, the luxury, the beautiful food, the activities that were always on hand for us. We wanted for the nothing, the staff were so kind and anticipated all our needs. We felt so pampered. Truely remarkable.

We’ve only just got home and already it feels like our holiday at Ban Suriya was a dream! We enjoyed an amazing week there with the rest of our extended family. The villa was large enough to host our group ranging in age from 3 to 75 years old with seperate spaces for us to retreat to for massages or quiet time and then come together again for delicious meals created by chef Teddy or cocktails on the beach at sunset or many fun family activities. We loved the pool, swim up bar, cooking lessons, massages, hair braider, volley ball, outdoor cinema and friendly, helpful staff. Tik made the stay so easy sorting all our requests and admin around different activities- golf, markets, masseuses and more! Thank you so much for having us to stay at your beautiful villa, we have so many happy memories of our time there together!

Ban Suriya is quite literally a slice of heaven - we really loved our stay there! It’s a stunning luxurious beach house set in a beautiful garden, flowing down onto a stunning white sandy beach, with crystal clear turquoise water, and with the most magic sunsets - my definition of paradise! Tik and her team looked after us like royalty, thinking of everything before we had the chance making our week properly relaxing! The house is stunning, and is made from beautiful wood and stone that blends into the natural surroundings. I loved how the design creates cool, light and airy spaces, and the layout feels so spacious, with rooms connected to the main building with shady walkways. We were a large group of friends staying together and we never felt crowded or on top of one another at any point. The inter-leading living areas feel peaceful, while the property comes together with a cosy and homely feel. I just loved this. The stunning garden is also definitely a highlight, it is set in a coconut grove, with tropical flowers in beds and a huge lawn, which extends down to a perfect little tree lined beach. We had heaps of space for adults to chill (helped by daily thai massages and sundowner cocktails) and kids to play (stand up paddle board, kayak and beach swing there is plenty to do). The food also deserves a big mention - all ingredients are picked from the kitchen garden or bought fresh each day from the local market - and transformed by chef! This is as good as healthy food gets in my opinion! Chef also gave a few of us a cookery lesson - I have already made the turmeric fish since I have got home. Thai curries, fresh tropical fruit, home made yoghurt, freshly squeezed juices etc etc I could go on! It really is perfection, I very highly recommend Ban Suriya, and hope to return soon!

We enjoyed the most magical of holidays at Ban Suriya. Stunning location, beautiful private beach, crystal clear water, warm friendly staff, luxurious accommodation, delicious food (anything you fancy - but we recommend the Thai cuisine). Plenty to do too - from water sports to massage, personal trainers, yoga teachers and manicurists. A fabulous week. Would go back in a flash (might need to take the extended family next time, perfection accommodation options for a larger group too).

I highly recommend Ban Suriya for families, couples or groups of friends. We went as a group of ladies from all over the world for a special birthday catch up. LOVE love loved our time there. This is a property with the WOW! factor. The villa is spectacular with separate suites for personal time or work and a main pavillion for meals, chatting, lounging or drinks. Fabulous pool and beautiful, clean and safe beach. We had a yoga/ fitness class every morning in the gym with a personal trainer and a thai massage in the afternoons. This helped balance the generous and absolutely delicious food made by chef, sunset cocktails and popcorn in the bean bags while watching a movie on the outdoor screen. Khun Tik and the team at Ban Suriya are amazing with attention to lovely touches such as the turndown flowers, table settings, yoghurt & granola homemade with love, beach towels and loungers made 'just so', beach barbecue and special cocktails made with local mango & watermelon! Perfect for active groups or those wanting to relax and recoup. I also recomend adding on a cooking class with chef to (try) to recreate some of the fabulous dishes made for us. This is my second trip to Ban Suriya an I already want to go back!
