Conrad Koh Samui

I was very satisfied with the stay! The room was spacious and clean, the bedding was comfortable, the villa pool had a great view, and you could enjoy the most beautiful sea view of Koh Samui from the hotel, and you could also see five islands; the breakfast was rich in variety and tasted great, the Thai restaurant was very authentic, and the hot pot was also great; the front desk service was enthusiastic, especially the Chinese housekeeper Xu Ping, who was very considerate and enthusiastic in his work, and was always ready to help us solve various problems. It really felt like home. I highly recommend Conrad Koh Samui! ”

All in all, it was a very bad stay. I will try to describe my stay as objectively as possible here, hoping to give some useful suggestions to those who want to come. 1) First of all, the hotel is very old. Although it has not been opened for a long time, it is not well maintained. Compared with the holiday villas by the sea that I have visited before, it is obviously old too fast. 2) The location is too remote. Although I knew that the hotel was at the southernmost tip of the island when I booked it, I didn't expect that there was really nothing nearby. In addition to the lack of entertainment activities and restaurants, the biggest risk is the lack of timely medical treatment and basic medical care capabilities. This time during the trip, my boyfriend's foot was pricked by a sea urchin while snorkeling. It was actually a very simple situation, but because the hotel did not have the most basic medical staff or employees with medical knowledge, we had to return to the airport an hour away to see a doctor and paid a fee of about RMB 3,000 without being sure what the problem was. If this is an urgent and serious medical condition, this hotel does not have the minimum ability to save lives. 3) The quality of the hotel's food is very poor. We booked a package that includes dinner because we thought the hotel is far from the city and there may be no restaurants nearby. As a result, we were told that we could only choose from two of the cheaper restaurants among several restaurants, and one of them was required to choose from a small number of optional menus, basically excluding all the relatively high-quality dishes (I have to complain here, in one of the Mediterranean restaurants, there is not even a choice of pizza) and no alcohol is included. 4) The quality of breakfast is very poor and the variety is very single, basically the same as the low-end non-fast breakfast of about 500 yuan a night in China, and the breakfast does not change every day. Because we are on a three-day trip and there are no other restaurants to choose from nearby, we can only eat here for three days. The quality of the restaurant's food is also another problem. The following photo shows ants on the bread in the restaurant. 5) Finally, I want to say that as a star hotel with such a high premium, the hotel's management is very chaotic, because the dinner included in the package is to choose between two restaurants, but in the first two nights, due to the hotel's own reasons, we had to eat in a cheaper restaurant. They said that the other hotel was closed because of an event, and we reluctantly accepted this. The next day, after we hurried back from the hospital, we were told that even the cheap restaurant closed early today, which directly resulted in us having no place to eat. Imagine how you would feel after you were injured and went to the hospital, and then rushed back to the hotel to eat and were told that there was no dinner. In short, I hope everyone will try to avoid spoilers and don't make reservations. I hope to persuade everyone to give up.

We came to Koh Samui again after 9 years to enjoy the Spring Festival holiday. Conrad gave our family an experience beyond our expectations. We were very lucky that the hotel upgraded our room type and had an infinity pool, where we could face the sea and enjoy the unbeatable views of the five islands and the sunset. Thanks to the hotel butler for providing excellent service throughout the whole process, booking restaurants, cars, and golf for us.
