Hotels in White Sand Beach, Koh Chang

Highly recommended this resort!!! Very nice place and location is amazing, located in the best beach in Koh Chang and it’s not far from the pier, there is convenient store and ATM in front of the resort. The resort has everything you need and fully of facilities. The food is delicious and reasonable price. All staff are friendly and helpful. Will come back!!!

Beachfront Hotel with pool and lush greenery all around the pool for shade. Great value. The beds were large, and rooms have fridge and coffee making facilities. Barxand restaurant were OK for breakfast but not a huge menu and not a very well stocked bar, butt's of bars and restaurants nearby.

Location: Koh Chang Travel duration: ~45 minutes by ferry from the Koh Chang Ferry port on the coastal Trat. ~20 minutes by car to get on the other side of the island Hotel: occupies both sides of the road. Check in is available in the inner building, from where friendly and attentive staff take you with your belongings to your lodge. Hotel offers two types of stays: private cottages and apartment suites. Main attraction of hotel is private cottage with also private pool and nicest view of the sea, but it was reserved during my stay, so we will skip that. Full amenities: robes, water, mini bar, and towels are set in a way that a guest feels most welcome. On-site restaurant offers not only local, but also European kitchen and daily fire show after an amazing sunset. What to do on the island: more like what not to do, because I don’t believe one can be bored there. Starting from scooter ride across the island and finished with diving, there are activities for any kind of character. BB Divers offers amazing full day experience for professional or beginner divers (which I happen to be). In conclusion: go there. It’s not full of people like other thai islands, but it’s more than unforgettable

Great place to stay have wanted to stay here on our last two visits to Kho Chang but it’s been to expensive or full we were lucky enough this time to get in for a reasonable price be it for only two nights. First night we had a problem with the air con not putting out cold air we had it set to 16 to try and cool the room but had to sleep outside the covers as it was so hot, told reception next morning they had Someone come out and fix second night it worked fine Location is great although white sand area has been hit hard with Covid, lots of empty bars and shops, it is also out of season which doesn’t help (June) we didn’t eat or drink here as it is over priced compared to other places we used on white sand Will defiantly stay here again

Located at the southern end of White Sands beach. The beachfront is rocky but a path has been cleared of rocks to allow access to the sandy bottom beyond. For the start of the sand only beach you only have to walk along for about 50 metres. Reception staff were friendly and cheerful. We had booked triple rooms for 5 nights due to late booking. I assume double rooms are an option. The buildings are aged but fairly well maintained. The room was clean with one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in around Thailand. Eveything worked just fine. The cleaning ladies were doing their thing on a daily basis. The breakfast was adequate. Juices, coffee, toast, fried eggs, omelet, hotdogs, thai dishes more than enough fuel for day's activity. Anyone who is critical of breakfast is just a whinger IMHO. Our group came together one day for lunch at the restaurant. No complaints from any group member about the food. I did not use the swimming pool as I'm a beach person. It did look well maintained with a number of sunloungers and deck chairs provided. To the reviewer who compared Banpu with Kacha I say they are incomparable. Why? Well the Banpu property has been established a lot longer than Kacha. Plus Kacha is not a beachfront property and their rooms, albeit more modern looking are at the same time a lot more expensive. Overall, I found Banpu good value for money and I enjoyed my stay here.

We were extremely unhappy I asked for a up grade to beach front bungalow and I asked for a bottle of champagne flowers and fruit none of this was done I had also asked for breakfast included also told no breakfast included. The manager refused to talk to use she messaged us calling us kirsty and Allen ! We are Clive and Denise! I have stayed here six time s in the past ten years I am shocked at the way I ve been treated this is a special occasion it is our second honeymoon. The fact that the manager is not prepared to talk to me directly shows that she does not care that she has messed our holiday up. I have now paid more money to get the room I wanted. I use *********** all the time this is not acceptable to be treated this way I have a copy of the messages with the property informing than that we are on our honeymoon clearly they don’t care about that if this is not resolved by tomorrow I will not be using *********** again 1. Not given correct room 2. Not Champaign 3 no flowers 4. Manager not interested!!! Further problems Safe not working Wardrobe door broken Window broken insecure I want this matter resolved by midafternoon tomorrow or I will be seeking a full refund the manager has had opportunity to correct matters or speak to me the have done neither I have had no response from booking .com or the hotel manager this is dreadful I have used booking. Com for years and been to this hotels previously I can t believe the dreadful way we have been treated with total disrespect Complete waste of time complaining totally arrogant of the manger not to communicate or even apologize the fact that there is issues with the room and they are not prepared to resolve them after this holiday I will not be using Booking. Com again

The location is good, the front door is the street, and at night, there are snacks on the street that are also very cheap; the back door is the sea, and the restaurant next door is the first season of the Chinese restaurant. The room is also very clean, there is a waiter at the front desk who can speak a little Chinese. Breakfast tastes pretty good too, the price for dinner is slightly more expensive than the street restaurants. Willing to live here in the future.

Second time here and it was very good this time directly on the beach with a nice pool,ok the room are very small and dont have a chair or a table inside the room,but staff very friendly and good food in the restaurant, sadly the beach restaurants was not open as before covid wifi was very good this time,and good value i will come back

We stayed for 2 weeks in a sea view deluxe room (403). The room was very nice with a comfortable large bed. The room is clean and well designed, with lots of space to store the suitcases and room for clothes and other stuff. We had a nice view of the sea and the street, so we could enjoy the sunset from the balcony, if we did not watch it on the beach. Every night Oodies next door played live music (blues and rock), so there was music on the balcony :-) The music was noticeable in the room, but faint, so we did not mind. Water, coffee and tea in the room was refilled every day.  The hotel has a special wooden staircase in the middle, this makes the hotel feel very open and with a lot of space as compared to long halls. On the roof there is a swimming pool and a rooftop terrace. We used the beach, but if you prefer to be out of the sand, this is a nice option. The view is very good from here, jungle and mountain on one side and the sea on the other side. The staff are the kindest and you feel very welcome and special. There is always a smile and a greeting from everybody; reception, cleaning, the kitchen or at breakfast. The breakfast buffet offer what you need whether you like Thai food, Continental or American for breakfast. You can have your coffee made to order and with a smile.  Thanks to everybody at The Erawan for great hospitality. 

A great budget hotel on the first line of White Sand Beach. A room with two beds on the last floor, the window went north. There are no balconies, a large hall in the form of an atrium, where the doors of the rooms go out, than the community reminds:) No elevator. There was a terrace on our floor. From the next roof in the morning to the window of the room come monkeys to ask for food. There is a safe in the room (not fixed) , refrigerator, table, chair and closet. There are tea supplies. In the bathroom. Staff is good and responsive, the cleaners start working from nine in the morning. Breakfast is not available, but in the same building 7/11, very convenient to buy delicious tea from the morning. Beach across the road, lying 30 batts. For its price, the hotel recommends budget travelers.
