Excellent Hotel. One of the best hotels I have visited ever. I had an amazing experience at this five-star hotel. From the moment I arrived, the team made me feel truly welcome with their warm hospitality and professional service. The rooms were beautiful and fully equipped with everything I needed, and the restaurants were excellent. A special thanks to the managing director, who personally ensured our stay was even better than expected—he even arranged for a driver to take us on a private tour. The entire staff went out of their way to make sure we had the best experience, and they truly succeeded. I would love to come back in the future!

The Taj Malabar in Kochi is a lovely updated colonial hotel with great and charming rooms (stay in the original building if you can) and staff and service that any hotel would envy. Elizabeth in Customer Relations was terrific from our first call till check out. Very responsive and helpful with suggestions and very professional. Also Duty Manager Kanwaljeet Singh was hugely kind and accommodating at check out helping correct a mistake I made!! The Rice Boat restaurant is great in all regards and we ate there two days running to be sure to try as much as we could of their menu. Joman P.K. (I hope I spelled it correctly!) was a great waiter and made helpful and delicious suggestions. The spa was great and we had full body and lower leg massages and facials and Saicey and Jesmon were very skilled and helpful. Shame on me for not getting all the names of the wonderful bar staff who were terrific throughout our stay and accommodated the needs of even the fussiest martini drinkers......us. Having a drink on the terrace and looking at that view is heaven. The Taj Malabar is a must if you like the charm of colonial hotels and service that is second to none. Cannot wait to come back.

A beautiful,heritage colonial hotel in the most picturesque waterfront setting with divine sunset cruises ,impeccable luxury and gracious warmth .Elizabeth and her team ensured our stay was just wonderful !I would go back..Highly recommended!

Right from the beginning, we were well received. Our check-in was effortless. And we were welcomed with welcome cold soft drink and tilak and necklace (of spiritual significance). This was followed by traditional Kerala, dance performed by for graceful young ladies. Our bags were checked into a very comfortable room overlooking the ocean. We were glad that we were able to stay in this hotel.

This is another beautiful we were lucky to have stayed in , in our 3 week, Rome-Kerala-Dubai trip .. The staff were excellent - that's the first thing that stands out . The Taj hospitality and class was seen everywhere - the hotel common area, staff, food etc I met people who have worked for the hotel for over 25 years - that shows you how the company treats its employees - when I am having a good time, it is important for me , that the people working there are also treated well. Glad to see one hotel that does it. Mentioning it here for others to whom this may matter. Other than this , the location was great , in a quiet place away from the hustle and bustle of the city .. we had a corner room with sunset views - this was truly a special room. The free cruise and yoga class offered, the evening cultural programs and food were excellent too !

It was a fantastic stay! Want to particularly call out the exceptional hospitality of Rijol, Ajith and Jomon - at the Pepper restaurant, Kanwaljeet and Amol - at the front desk, and Jaffan and Prakop at the spa. Amazing! Thank you very much! Great location, the meals and especially the bar - were wonderful too!
