Excellent hotel for business as well as families. Compact but comfortable rooms. The buffet dishes were very good especially the Coconut Fish curry. A very helpful front desk/ reception. Ask them for advise on places to visit , the best times to visit and the transport to get there

Showing signs of aging
This is my 2nd time at Ibis, Kochi. I'd loved my stay last time at Ibis more than any other and that is why I chose it for a 2nd time. Even though the overall experience has been good, I could tell that the shampoo and soap dispensers hadn't been changed in a long time. Barring this, my stay has been pleasant.

Could have been better!
The room was typical Ibis, no-frills. Bed is comfortable. But the engineering side did not think about ease of use of bathrooms. To start with, the toilet door had a magnetic catch and a round handle which makes it a feat trying to open the toilet door. No grip. Ditto with the shower door. Imagine trying to open with wet / soapy hands sans a door without proper handle, and that too with a magnetic *****. The drain provided in the shower area is not capable of draining water at the rate the shower delivers water. resulting in water logging in the shower area. There appears to be no protoco; of house keeping visit every day. All I got was a couple of tea bags on the second day on my request. Only on the third day, was it attended to.

A Truly beautiful hotel.
I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel room was very clean, the room service was very good, great Wi-Fi connection, very comfortable bed and very nice staff.
