Wonderful Hotel with friendly helpful staff. The location is very convenient and the gardens are beautiful. The Hotel is very well kept and clean. The restaurant serves wonderful food. We ate breakfast and dinner there and all meals were outstanding with a great choice.

We loved our three days in Eighth Bastion. The room was beautiful with a pool-side balcony complete with roof fan. Nice pool with umbrella shading, food was great, esp. breakfast dosa & pancakes, location is excellent, and above all, the staff are super-friendly and helpful.

We stayed for two nights on a trip to southern India. I thought this hotel was very nice with fine rooms, helpful staff, inviting pool (that we did not use) and good restaurant. The Fort Kochi area seemed quite walkable. All in all, a good experience.

Clean, spacious, friendly staff, nice rooms, comfy beds. great location very close to all tourist sights. Amazing food. Only downside was we had a room overlooking the backstreet which was very noisy with car horns, voices etc. Highly recommended though.

Lovely stay at the Eighth Bastion, a boutique hotel in Kochi. Great service and food - we were very well looked after. The rooms are well equipped with a large bathroom. There’s good air conditioning - just as well as it can get quite humid. Great stay.

Eighth Bastion, Kochi is a lovely modern small hotel near but not on the beach-front of Kochi. Situated in an old colonial part of the city, Eighth Bastion is set among old colonial mansions of huge trees and beautiful gardens. Rooms are of excellent quality and comfort. Of special mention is the wonderful restaurant serving three meals a day and its young chef who produces absolute quality offerings with exquisite presentation. Just outstanding. Great experience.
