This hotel is in a great location. The staff were friendly and spoke good English. We were on the second floor. There was no lift. The room was clean and a good size for a couple. Our room overlooked the square. The outlook was pleasant. The only gripe we had was that there was no air-conditioning and the fan in the room sounded like a plane taking off. It could not be used also the room was very hot at night. Breakfast (not included) was in the cafe downstairs and was exceptional. I was woken in the morning by the church bells at 6:15 am. I would definitely recommend this hotel for its location and proximity to restaurants and the waterfront.

This hotel would not suit everyone because of having no lift but it’s a gem in a central position in the centre of the old town . Ideal for shopping bars restaurants. It’s nice and clean and the staff are friendly . The reception is in the cafe on the ground floor. The food in the cafe is of high quality but not cheap but there are lots of cheaper options with in 5 minutes walk

Si se viaja con maleta grande y pesada, es MUY difícil llegar a la habitación incluso en el 2do piso. Nos tocó el 3er piso. No hay ascensor y es una escalera de caracol 🥵. Tampoco hay aire acondicionado. Por lo demás, muy bello el lugar!!!!!!!!!

The Altstadt Hotel & Cafe is located on a fairly quiet plaza in the old part of Koblenz. It was easy to walk down to the Rhine and the Moselle. Our room faced the plaza; it was small but very comfortable and the bathroom was huge with a very large tub/shower. We had breakfast in their cafe every morning. The staff was very pleasant and helpful.

Die Lage ist gut. Preislich könnte es aber etwas günstiger sein. Positiv ist der späte Check in. Zimmer sind recht groß, aber leider nicht ganz so sauber. Nachts, grad am Wochenende hört man das Partyvolk, was mich aber nicht gestört hat. Leider keine Parkmöglichkeit am Hotel.
