The hotel is ideally situated between Sannomiya and Motomachi Stations, making both easily accessible on foot. It's right on a shopping street and surrounded by many convenience stores, making the location superb. While the room was a bit small overall, the bathroom was quite spacious, and the wet/dry separation was a huge plus. The rooms are well-appointed and felt very clean. The lobby offers self-service amenities like skincare products and tea bags. There's also a self-service laundry room on the 10th floor where you can wash a good amount of clothes for just 600 JPY – perfect for families on vacation. The staff are fluent in English and highly professional. Both check-in and check-out are self-service, which is very convenient. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Kobe.
Just a few mins away from both Sannomiya station and Motomachi area. Equipped with a public bath facility and the coin laundry. (There was a queue after 9pm. Go for it earlier!) Staff were attentive and helpful. Only drawback- the view of my room was like completely blocked by other buildings, and we were not able to get enough natural lights. It was even darker than the average at night.
Huge hotel with great facilities, but gym, sauna, onsen and pool have to be paid extra and at high prices. That left a very bitter aftertaste. The room was large but a bit dated and could be cleaned better.
The service at the reception could be nicer and speak better English. However, the rest of the service staff were extremely nice and helpful. Early check-in was possible free of charge.
The hotel is very close to Kobe airport, but only offers a shuttle service for the train stations. Why not also for the airport is somewhat questionable.

The hotel was spotlessly clean and well-equipped. Toiletries and skincare samples are available for guests at the front desk.
Location: The location is superb. There's a 7-Eleven right downstairs, and both Sannomiya Station and Nishimura Coffee are just a 5-minute walk away. The view from the window was also beautiful.
Service: The breakfast spread was excellent and very generous.
The view outside the room is great as it is close to Kobe Harbour (not quite sure) but it is pity that the soundproofing not quite well as we can hear noise passed from another guest room. And I don’t recommend the dinner buffet here because the menu is limited
Overall it is good ,the surrounding of the hotel is very beautiful
Great that the hotel has shuttle bus service from Sannoymiya station, and the service is fantastic. It was hassle free and easy to get to the hotel. Other services were great as well, however, the laundry service was less than great. There are not enough washing machines for the size of the hotel, and many guests are always queuing for the washing machine. Also, the bell captain is inconsistent with the way of managing the laundry queue. Sometimes, there is a waiting list for guests to register on, while other times, there is a need to wait in person for the key to be available.
The Unizo Inn was one of the best locations I have stayed at in Japan. The room, relative to Japanese standards, is quite spacious and their degree of cleanliness is enough for even me, someone seldom fickle about cleanliness, to perceive. In addition, they also have a water dispenser situated just outside the elavator in the hallway leading to the room for anyone who might need some hydration. On the other side of the water dispenser was a VOD ticket machine for any guests interested in viewing the hotel's selection of movies. While I did not make use of this service, I am certain there are some travellers who would be most pleased to have something to entertain them even in their room. While I did not decide to have breakfast included with my room for the duration of my stay, the area in which the hotel is located makes it a prime location to acquire breakfast, whether that be a Matsuya right below the hotel or, my preference, Yoshinoya a little ways away. On the note of location, though, the hotel is well situated near Sannomiya station, giving ease of access to other regions of Kobe. That said, the wealth of restaurants and stores near the station alone could probably keep one interested in food occupied for a while. The staff were overall very friendly and the experience as a whole was most enjoyable. One point to note, however, was that like every other hotel I have been to in Japan, there is a stark absence of three-holed outlets so North Americans with three-pronged plugs should be aware of this and come prepared with an adapter of some sort.
Great location, 5 min walk to subway and train. One train stop away from Shin-Kobe station. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Easy to locate as next to Ikuta Shrine. Free coffee at lobby 24/7. Rooms are spacious with bathtub.
The location of the hotel is great, surrounded by convenience stores (a 24hrs Donki is at the opposite of the hotel, with FamilyMart and 7-Eleven along the streets) & affordable restaurants. The train stations for four lines and also the transit bus to Kansai Airport is only an 8-10 mins walk away, granting easy access not only to varies tourist sites in Kobe, but also to Osaka and the airport. The room is not spacious but we have enough room to spread out 1-2 luggages (hotel rooms in Japan are typically very small), the double bed is comfy and big. The room is soundproofed, we knew there were children and families staying on our floor but we only heard them once from the hallway, the room enable us to get a good night's sleep in such a busy area. The public area and room are clean, staff clean the room every 3 days, but you can also request room cleaning service every day by telling the reception. I personally enjoy the shower very much, the water flow is strong, and the rainfall shower did an excellent job to wash our tiredness away. Shampoo, conditioner & shower gel is provided, other disposable toiletries are available on the lobby floor. There are 3 washing machines (wash & dry) for all guests on the 2/F?? which can be paid by coins, the laundry room is usually fully occupied and it is better to avoid after-dinner hours, it would be perfect if every room has its own washing machines like other hotels. During our stay (which is the hottest time in summer), the hotel thoughtfully provided ice-cream soda for guests at their cafe every night after 8PM, that is a suitable place where you can get refreshed and chit-chat after a long day. Overall, we appreciate the professional service of hotel staffs and enjoy our stay at the hotel, we would recommend The Royal Park Canvas to those are looking for an affordable, quality hotel with convenient location.
While the room was on the smaller side, it was incredibly quiet, allowing me to sleep soundly until breakfast was nearly finished – I almost missed it! The onsen on the 14th floor, complete with a relaxation area, massage chairs, and complimentary Yakult and ice cream, was an absolute highlight. Breakfast was excellent, and the location couldn't be better – Nankin-machi (Chinatown) and Sannomiya are right next door, and the harbor is just a short walk away. The service was excellent and professional. My only regret is that I visited Kobe during the hottest time of the year. Still, I would definitely choose your hotel again for my next trip to Kobe.

GGuest UserExcellent location: It takes about 10 minutes to walk from the subway station, facing the sea, next door is the sea world, there is a hotel dedicated passage, no need to queue.
The hotel buffet has a rich menu, with Kobe and cattle, exceeding expectations, and the staff is enthusiastic.
There is a laundry room on the first floor, and there are two dolphins in the garden.
Rramu*raimuLocation, meals, service and very good.
The Akashi Ohashi Bridge spreading in front of you is a superb view! I was able to spend a leisurely time watching the changing scenery.
Because it was all inclusive, alcohol and snacks were freely available in the lounge. I highly recommend it!
NNormanThe location is excellent for visiting nearby sightseeing spots. For example, Kitano Ijinkan and Herb Garden. The high speed railway is also right next to the hotel, which makes it very convenient. I have been to other hotels such as Hotel Okura and Meriken Oriental Hotel. After visiting all of them, I still think ANA Crowne Kobe is not only the cheapest but the best in terms of location, services, and amenities. For example, gym is Crowne is free compared to the other two. They also got adapters for foreigners unlike the other two. Furthermore, they got a lot of restaurants inside and nearby which makes it a very appealing place for a business trip.
GGuest UserA very good Glamping experience, the room was clean and comfortable, the staff were very polite and helpful. Dinner and breakfast were cooked by the staff in the room, and we enjoyed them in our room facing the beautiful view. Alcoholic drinks were also provided free of charge! Unfortunately we arrived too late and missed some activities. If I have the chance, I will definitely come again!
ZZawwRooms are bigger than average Japanese hotels, basically a new hotel just a minute away from KOBE CHINA TOWN. Plenty of shops to enjoy food or shopping. Breakfast is a little simple Indian restaurant, nothing to choose much. Bicycles can been rent at the front desk for 500 JPY per use. Very convenient to get around the city.
Will absolutely stay here every-TIME visiting KOBE.
MMayu975This time I wanted to experience a Japanese-style room. The room was quite clean and tidy, with basically complete facilities, including air conditioning and a refrigerator. Ctrip said that this apartment type requires a shared bathroom, but the one I stayed in has a separate toilet and shower.
The hotel didn't seem to have a front desk all the time. When I arrived, I had to wait for a while before someone came to greet me. After a brief check-in, I used a mobile phone translator to explain the check-in instructions. After being led to the room, I also introduced the situation of the room.
It's just that the sound insulation is slightly poor, and you can hear the door opening and closing next door clearly.
The next morning, I left early and didn't see the staff, so I left my keys at the front desk and left on my own.
The location is quite convenient. After getting off the Hanshin Line from Sannomiya Station, it's about 200 meters uphill, and it takes about 10 minutes to walk to Meriken Park.
KkarekarekareBook a female dorm room for 4 people, but I was alone so have the room for myself. The bed is futon style, a thin foam and then the futon mattress itself. We get a new white sheet upon check in. There's a thin full body mirror, small rack for suitcases and personal belongings, but if you need to, there's also safe box near staff room. The female dorm room is on the 2nd floor, next to the shared kitchen so you can kinda hear other guests cooking or working on their laptop with the wifi. You can have your coffe, tea, cup ramen and even light cooking is allowed as they provided the pans, and also some seasonings. The sink and the toilet is next to it, hairdryers are available and the toilet has bidet seat.
The shower room are on the b1f floor, which a little bit of hassle because you have to pass the staff room everytime. You can wash & dry you clothes too in the utility room next to it, but I dont know if they charge or not. Another kitchen and TV room is also here. Rental towels, bath robe, one time use shaver are also available.
Over all a pleasant place if you only looking to for a place to sleep, and wash your self. It's 5 minutes walk from Oishi station. There's a small river near too which also a nice place for a small walk.
GGuest UserIt was a good place, but I have booked the smoking room by mistake, the smell of cigarettes was really strong, besides good place and service.
GGuest UserIt was great that the station was within walking distance.
For safety reasons I couldn't block the peephole in the door so I decided to open the bathroom door and block it instead.
The hair dryer was in the bedroom, so I was a little concerned about the noise, but it was great that there were lots of mirrors.
The orange lights were a bit of a problem, but the staff were kind enough to answer my questions.
