To be honest, when I first read the reviews, I thought it would be very bad. Many chains across Japan would say that this hotel is not that bad. I have stayed at Himeji’s twice. Until I saw the scene, first of all, the service in the hotel was good, but After entering the room, there was a smell of cigarette smoke. Maybe I didn't book a non-smoking room. Then there were cockroaches in the toilet. I told the receptionist that they replaced it with a new one. If you don't look at the toilet, it's not very dirty overall, but for the price, I can’t say anything, but I think I would rather pay more to live in another room.

Far from the center of Kobe/Sannomiya so do not expect the area to be busy. Also the hotel has started to show its age but no complaints considering the very attractive price point.

I stayed alone and gave me a twin room.

The location is fantastic. Beautiful and well maintained hotel. However, after observing one of the staff members my first thought was 'MOTTAINAI”. Because, the female foreign staff named Hou has exhibited a low level of behavior for this hotel. Her eyes looked unfriendly, because she never had a smile. In fact, she made a remark and criticism about my question. It became clear to me she is the unprofessional type who is not suitable for such a nice hotel. Photos are from room #507 where carpets had noticeable stains.

It takes about 20 minutes to take the bus + walk from Shin-Kobe Station. It is a 10-minute walk from Sannomiya Station. The location is convenient and the environment is OK. The restaurant is relatively small and it is a bit difficult to find a seat when there are many people in the morning.
