Woodlands Self Catering is a country-style retreat found on Rheenendal Road, 15km north of Knysna. Set in fynbos and with a nice garden Woodlands offers 5 charming apartments. The establishment is privately owned & managed, and wel maintained. Our comfortable room had a good kingsize bed, 2 wardrobes, air-co, bench & coffee-table, TV, wooden deck with barbeque facility, hill vista and benches & table. We had a complete kitchen with table chairs, fridge, stove-top, oven, sink, and microwave. Complimentary coffee, tea, sugar and milk on arrival. We had a separate bathroom with washbasin, shower & toilet. All was super clean. The Woodland is a comfortable, quiet place, and we had a pleasant stay. Highly recommended.

It’s our / my second time staying at Woodlands Self Catering. This time around I booked one of the small couples suites and it was beautiful, a small home away from home. I missed my better half but staying at Woodlands made it worth while being on my own. It is peaceful and gives one the opportunity to reconnect with your inner self. Being in nature is perfect for recharging. We will definitely be back for more visits.

Above expectation!
This was one of the best properties we have stayed at. The attention to detail was phenomenal. There was not one thing we wished could have been better. The view, the gardens, the comfort, the games, the beds - everything was set up with our comfort in mind. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area.
