I am a local tour guide. We always book this accomodation when doing Garden route tours. It's peaceful, clean, well equiped and the owner is hands on and friendly. Very good value for money in a sought after location.

The room was clean and the service from the staff was great. It's a nice, secured and a quiet place to stay in

On short notice we were able to get a room for one of our staff members and the friendly and welcoming. Apple was very quick and assisted with meeting all my requirements like a late check in and secure parking for the vehicle that had merchandise on for a client. We will defiantly recommend B My Guest. Thank you team

We booked the 4 to 5 sleeper. The little Reception office was the 1st sign of things to come. Small and untidy. The stoep of our unit was dark and dreary with a massive "inverter" set up in a cage in one corner. Nothing happy or summer-like there. When I initially called I asked if the unit would accommodate my mother who walks with a crutch. I was told it wouldn't be a problem. The unit's shower is inside the bath and apparently, we just missed the unit that had the separate shower because someone else booked in before us. I then asked where can I go buy a plastic bucket for my mom to 'rinse' in. I was then given a small plastic basin to use. The entire unit felt dark and old. The pictures on the wall were older than my 40-something years and the brown carpets and furniture added to the dark and musty vibe that they had going. I went to Reception to complain and the lady who assisted us called the managing agent. He was not impressed with me at all and was very short with me. I told him it felt like a grandma's cottage that hadn't seen anything bright and light in years. I then asked for a refund. He agreed to refund me one of the 3 nights. He said that the pictures showed the rooms on the website so how can I say everything is old? I went to check on the website and didnt see any picture of our unit. The kettle was rusted inside and had rusted water inside. The one kitchen counter felt like someone rubbed some jam over it. The stove was dirty. One plate didnt work. The bathroom was old and the rust and peeling paint added to the terribleness of it all. I was told this was the only unit that they didn't have time to "redo". So why then make it available for holidaymakers? Our 3 days in Knysna were great but we didn't want to go back to our accommodation in the afternoons/evenings. We avoided it and went back as late as possible at night. We never braai-ed, we never sat outside to enjoy breakfast on the stoep etc etc.

The host Apple was the kindest person I met on my holiday. We enjoyed our stay in B my Guest. The place was always clean. Apple even came and give us places to go see on our own and I really appreciate it. The swimming pool was lovely, and the cottage was also very nice. Thank you for your friendly clean accommodation.
