Accomodation is located on a separate island, which is a gem itself - stunning shoreline, lovely park for walks, a very peaceful place which is also very safe. Great location - road connecting it to the mainland, and just 10 minutes drive from Knysna harbour with all the best eat out places around. We've been treated by Pierre, who is the most friendly and welcoming host. He has designed the place with his love for sailing and the sea in general - everything is very stylish, clean and bright. He is also originally from Belgium, which means you'll also benefit from delicious Belgium waffles as a nice desert treat for your breakfast. You can also ask him about best places to visit, not just around Knysna but all across the West Cape. And there will also be a special something for dog lovers, as there are 2 absolutely adorable labradoodles hanging around when allowed by guests, and they really love to cuddle 🤗 Wish we could stay for more, but will definitely come back next time I'll be around.

Pierre and Lynne were very friendly and hospitable. Pierre recommended some lovely local restaurants and places to visit. Superb breakfast included with the best waffles - light and crispy, served with a delicious fruit salad and Greek yoghurt. 4 gorgeous, friendly dogs. The Island is so clean and lovely to walk around, a beautiful setting. Would definitely stay at Chez Pierre again.

Chez Pierre is one of those places which I add to my list of must revisit. There are so many positives including, location, clean, good value, great waffles and more, but most of all it is Pierre himself that makes the difference. His advice on where to eat, what to see and friendliness is up there with the best.

One of the best B&B we have ever been too. Beautifull rooms and location. Excellent service and owner and staff verf friendly and helpfull. Breakfast to die for.

Had an absolute lovely one night stay. Pierre was a fabulous host with plenty of excellent suggestions and recommendations for our stay and not to mention his to die for Belgian waffles. Our only regret was that we couldn’t stay longer!

C'est une chambre d'hôte comme on les aime : tout le confort est là, les chambres sont belle et spacieuses, les TV connectées et le wifi sont parfaits. Les petits déjeuners sont bons et copieux. L'emplacement est juste magique et tout y est si calme et apaisant ! C'est un endroit à ne pas manquer si vous voulez un séjour super agréable et confortable ! petite astuce : chaque chambre a sa machine nespresso et pour les amateurs de café comme moi c'est VITAL !!

We loved it here. Pierre is delightful, so enthusiastic and helpful, and his house is both immaculate and extremely comfortable, the rooms are splendid and the staff delightful. Margaret cooked an excellent breakfast with fresh Belgian waffles which set us up for the day, spent either relaxing by the pool or exploring the many local delights, especially the Featherbed tour and the Outaniqua Power Wagon at George. Great local restaurants for evening meals, Blend, Dry Dock, Piza e Vino. Already planning our next visit.
