This is a clean, quiet, sunny, sweet, little cottage tucked into a quiet alley in the Friendly Area Neighborhood on College Hill, only a mile from downtown and the University of Oregon. If you like walking, it's easy to get most places on foot, yet it is privately situated behind another property we own and accessible via a quiet alley. Parking is private, off-street and very close.In the summer, there is an air conditioner to keep the temperature comfortable. In the winter you can sit in front of the gas fireplace and watch movies curled up under one of the throws. There is a love seat, an armchair and a rocking chair to relax in.The living room, kitchen and dining area have an open floor plan. There are doors to the bedroom and bathroom. Our remodeled vintage cottage features the original exposed brick chimney and fir floors from the 1940s, which give it a nice warm glow. It is full of windows and skylights. There are updated tile floors in the kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen has a gas stove to cook on and is stocked with quality pots and pans and a Keurig coffee maker with coffee provided. There are fresh herbs growing just outside the front door for you to snip! There is a 27" smart TV and high speed internet with which you can enjoy TV shows and movies through your Netflix, Hulu or other entertainment accounts. There is also an HDMI cable so you can connect your device directly to the TV. Just outside the windows of the main living area there is a little brick patio, garden beds and a rose arbor. It is a lovely place in the warmer months to enjoy a cup of coffee and a good book, sip a glass of wine with a friend or enjoy a full meal.
