"The apartment was beautiful, spacious and comfortable. It was only a short 10min walk from the bus terminal through the main market area and there were also restaurants 1 min walk in a cosy square. The views from the apartment were amazing!! Marijana was wonderful in accommodating our last minute booking and really helpful showing us the apartment and map and tips for finding restaurants and landmarks. Thank you 😊"

"Room was clean, and full of amneties for a studio room. AC worked well but there was a fly as the window was open before we came in. Receptionist showed us around the room and explained the check out process and breakfast (coffee and tasty croissants). Entrance to room can only be accessed from outside of the street. Hence, a little concerned about the lack of safety."

"The Hotel is nice, clean, and comfortable. The staff were very helpful. I enjoyed the homey atmosphere. However, there are a few things one should be aware of before booking: The hotel is in the historic district just about 5 min walk west from the Prominade area. Taxis cannot drive in, so it is necessary to walk in with one's baggage. Also, any excursions will start with a walk out of the area to the main taxi stand. Navigating the area can be a challenge the first couple of times; one MUST have the ability to use their maps app. T-mobile - America has an international plan that give you up to 2G speed unlimited data and texting, but I highly recommend getting a local sim card. Look at the map of the city before choosing this hotel. There are a lot of nice restaurants within 2-5 minutes walking. Furthermore, the office closes from 11pm till 7am. Most importantly, they DO NOT take credit cards. IF you did not pay for the room online, you will need local cash, and you will need it to pay the taxes on the room, and for a taxi if you booked it through the hotel. Cash only. (They do have a zelle option, but I could not get it to work. I recommend cash. Speaking of cash, one should get it from an actual bank ATM as the rates 11% vs the 22-25% some private ATMs charge.) I give the hotel 4 of 5 for comfort, 5/5 for cleanliness, 3 or 5 for location. I'd give this hotel "

"Family small hotel, located in the center but to go around a big circle, not very good to find. The host will help take the suitcase up, there is no elevator. The air conditioning in the room is not very comfortable."

"The check-in experience is very good, the hotel is in a good location, very close to the scenic area, the room is clean, the big bed is very comfortable. This hotel is more like a self-service apartment, there is no 24-hour front desk, the service staff arranged after the check-in, no one disturbed, I like this feeling of freedom."

"We had the most delightful time at the Apartments Cordis. The staff bent over backwards to help us with late check in, directions and recommendations. The pool was a real treat, usually all to ourselves and surrounded by fresh fruit growing and hanging over the pool. Our apartment was lovely, very cool from the A/C and filled with lots of of kind extra touches. The bed was brilliantly firm and so comfortable. The only downside to our stay was that the shower leaked into the bathroom a lot. The space between the toilet and shower was very small, not great for tall people. The floors needed more cleaning. And the WiFi was a bit patchy. The neighbourhood was conveniently located with a bus stop and shops 5 mins away. It’s close to the new beach and the centre of town. We enjoyed browsing in the Thrift store round the corner. All in all a great stay that I would repeat. Thank you"
