Stayed on the 27th floor. Every 3-5 minutes, there is a 10-15 seconds of strange noise. reported to the hotel, they blame the lift for the noises. Unfortunately, the very disturbing noise appeared throughout our stay including very late at night.

I stayed alone, and it was right in front of Kokura Station, so the location was really great. As is typical of Japanese hotels, the rooms are small, and the bathroom was especially small. There was no problem when I used it alone, and it was great because it had TV and YouTube. I want to go there again next time I visit Kitakyushu.

The location is really good. It's close to Chacha Town, Tanga Market, and Kokura Station. There's also a public bath, so I used it every day. ㅎㅎ
They also rent bikes for 5 hours, so it's really good. ㅎㅎ

If you are staying in a dormitory and traveling alone, the prices, services and facilities are great. All the staff were friendly and comfortable. Well equipped shower. The dormitory is on the first basement floor, so rental wifi, roaming is not available. Wi-Fi itself is slow in the basement. Please take care when using the umbrella when it rains. It was raining in the morning, so I bought it urgently at a convenience store. You can walk to Kokura Station in about 10 minutes or get off at Monorail Tanga Station. The bus is not recommended.

There are no people and it is small.
Easy to walk around as there are major tourist spots nearby.
Close to Kokura Station and Don Quijote. Around 15 minutes.
There are more shower booths than expected.
It's ironic that there are men's shower rooms and toilets next to women's rooms.
The women's shower room and toilet are separate from the women's room. But it doesn't matter much because it's close, but it just didn't match the movement.
It is cold because the air conditioner is running 24 hours.
The bed is covered with wood, making it a private room.
It was comfortable because there was no need to face other people.
Pillow covers and sheets are taken with you when you leave, so they look clean, but you don't know when to clean pillows and futon linings.

RRobertLinThe hotel is located in front of Kokura Station. You can see the trains entering and exiting Kokura Station from the room. The children like it very much.
Although it is located in a busy area, the hotel also provides parking space for travelers to use, priced at 1,000 yen per night. The room size is much larger than that of Japanese business hotels, and there is plenty of room for two 29-inch suitcases. The room is equipped with a massage chair, a very large wet and dry bathroom and a bathtub. The hotel also provides a paid washing and drying machine for guests. use.
DDzou ChangI like the hotel because of its location and lots of comics. Within a 4 minute walk from Kokura station, and Kokura castle, riverside walk all within comfortable walking distance, you can take a monorail from JR station also if you don't like walking.
GGuest UserI was very disappointed with the hygiene standards at this hotel. Upon arrival, I found the toilet in an unacceptable state, with waste and toilet paper left unflushed. Additionally, the blanket in my room had noticeable stains. Although the staff offered to move me to another room, the initial experience left a lasting negative impression. Unfortunately, I will not be returning.
GGuest UserDespite the language barrier, the front desk staff were very friendly & helpful. The foods were very tasty, delicious with very reasonable price. The breakfast is included but the quality is second to none, to my knowledge based on my own Japan travel experience. Thumbs up for the staff & strongly recommended for anyone visiting Mojiko to stay & enjoy.
GGuest UserI stayed here for one night for a short trip to Kitakyushu before going to Hakata Station
Overall, it was a hotel with an old-fashioned feel
The atmosphere was good
The interior of the room was small, but the design had a grandmotherly feel:)
Personally, I liked it and it was cozyㅎㅎ
They also had a lot of walks in the garden
When I went, there was a wedding going on, so it was fun to watch the Japanese guests
By the way, it's far from the station... It was hard to carry my suitcase
However, considering the price of the accommodation, it's not bad! If I go to Kokura, I'll stay here again
AAnonymous Usergood location near main train station, restaurants and shops, good for transportation. room is small but acceptable ,reasonable price. except some staff cannot speak English, can be trouble for people like me can't speak Japanese. it is good place for people who is on budget travel
GGuest User1. Very spacious room for this price point to be honest. Could be because it's not a major city...
2. Kitchen equipment like induction cooker and pot and bowls and utensils were provided! Makes it possible to cook your own meals (or even just Maggie mee) fridge was very big so can buy drinks to store
3. Location was alright. Located along small alley but very near main road leading to shopping street and Kokura station.
4. Aircon and heater worked well. Great for winter weather
5. Bathroom ventilator was very strong. To the extent that it feels very cold after taking a shower. We tried closing the bathroom door at night and it was literally like a freezer in the morning when we open it.
But also because of the ventilator, our clothes dried fast indoors 🥶
6. Now to the pain points. First got to be the facility management and check in check out process. This property does auto check in meaning there is no physical staff to handle your check in check out throughout. There is no receptionist at all. I made my booking 2- 3 hours prior to arriving at property. At the front door we were prompted to input entry passcode which we had no idea what it was (it's not the reservation number provided by the booking partner like Agoda or trip.com) tried to contact both the hotel helpline (there was a Jp phone number at the entrance but that's all, no other info whatsoever) and also escalated to Agoda (as I made my booking through Agoda for first nights) but no ans. In the end we had to enter property when someone unlocked the front entrance using her own passcode before we could speak to the helpdesk through the tablets.
So it turns out that they claim most travellers would make their reservation at least a day prior to arrival, which was why system didn't capture my booking (yet ironically they allowed booking for same day check in .... When they clearly cannot manage the whole process) shouldn't there be more effort being put in to monitor for same day booking so the traveller doesn't get stuck at the front entrance especially in winter weather? We had to sit at the park nearby while trying to contact the helpdkesks but couldn't get through till the end......
The whole check in process was rather manual, basically you enter the info as prompted on screen then video call the helpline agent to verify before you'll get your passcode to your room. (All through tablet)
Security seems alright if you're ok with the idea of using a keypad lock instead of having a physical room card? I guess customers just have to always make sure no one is looking when entering the passcode at the front door. Btw same passcode is used to enter hotel front entrance and for your room lock.
All in all the biggest issue we found was the check in check out process. Overall stay was above average.
주주우식Even if you can't do the room, the space is very large than you think, so you have to stay more than four people. We were two, so we thought we were scared to die when we went to pee at night. Inside, it's clean, except for some dead bugs in the light bulb. For reference, there's Dyson. However, most of the other ryokan have luggage transfer services, but you have to move here directly, and it is expensive for a ryokan where there is no hot spring. Still, the garden view is more beautiful than expected! The photos are also very good. The courtyard here is more beautiful than the Kokura courtyard
GGuest UserThough location is a little far but the free shuttle bus to and fro Orio station made is super convenient for an onsen retreat. There's a direct bus from Kitakyushu Airport to Orio station too, which makes it even better. Thankfully, the staff kindly took note of the shuttle reservation request made during booking, otherwise, it would have been very inconvenient to contact them and expensive to get to the resort by other means. They left a note to check the official website for pick-up point but there was no specific information - something that can be improved. The location was found to be BEHIND Maxvalue Shop (see first few photos). The resort is visited by mainly locals so it was helpful to see and ask them for confirmation.
Facilities might a bit old but generally clean so it was okay. The room is nice and comfortable, particularly the view. It was very nice to see the hotel using reusable wares with even a refillable jug to get water from a machine at the shared space. Both sides of the natural onsen is switched between male and female everyday. Supper tantan noodles is great! Breakfast is not bad with both fusion western style and traditional Japanese options. It was a very nice and relaxing time!
새새로운 세상Everywhere you go, it's a hotel of a size that's all babyish.
I think the meal at the restaurant will be memorable.
It's been a long time since I took off my shoes and sat down with a self-contained meal.
