We stayed here on Christmas and had Christmas dinner in the hotel restaurant. Prices in Iceland are really expensive, but it is still important to fill your stomach. The room was standard and the staff was very nice.

The room is not soundproof. The heater takes a long time to warm up. But the service attitude is good. The response is fast when I asked for more quilts. The hot water for shower is stable, but the door is a bit awkward.

The room was not so good as we expected, being sparsely decorated. The interior outside rooms looked a bit cheap, contrary to its intention. However, breakfast was really nice. There was a wide variety of dishes and Icelandic choices. We saw northern lights near the hotels.

Overall, I was very satisfied. It was very convenient to stay in the church town on the same day after driving from Vik to the glacier lagoon. This is the best hotel around and the staff is very friendly. The restaurant downstairs is also very delicious and can be recommended.
