Hotels with Breakfast in Kew

I don't know why this hotel is rated 4 stars. It is 2 stars at best. We stayed for four nights, and our room was never cleaned. We had to ask for fresh towels on the third day. We emptied the trash ourselves as it became apparent the property does not offer cleaning service. There isn't a coffee maker in the room, and just a couple of forks and a couple of plates. The room itself felt dirty. The main areas of the building, including the entrance and walkways, were littered with leaves and other materials. We informed a cleaner the area needed to be vacuumed and he said it wasn't his job. We informed the front desk, and they simply nodded their heads. There is a language barrier with the front desk staff. I would not stay here given the lack of cleanliness and service. There aren't many choices in Kew, but I would look in Hawthrone or Richmond, which are relatively close to Kew.

A good set up with parking available, admittedly you pay a fee but an good option. I couldn’t get the TV to work but it was fixed very quickly by friendly staff. No instructions on how to navigate the TV etc…. Would be nice to have a book with info about restaurant etc…close by. There was. Bit of noise both inside and outside the hotel which was disappointing as I went there for peace and quiet. Overall a good experience with room for improvements

The transportation is very convenient, the room is slightly smaller and there is free parking.

Close to the tram, clean and compliant hotel! Very pleasant staff! I recommend for a week's stay, there is plenty of equipment in the kitchen

The front desk is Chinese, the communication is barrier-free, the room is a bit old, there is no elevator, you can park for free, the surrounding area is relatively quiet, as for transportation, it is convenient to rent a car.

The Safari in the City is one of the newest hotels in Kew, having been renovated in 2024.Boasting a convenient location, the hotel is just 3km from Auburn Station and 24km from Essendon Airport. Famous local attractions Garden Gallery Kew, Virtual Reality Melbourne and Rathmines Road Reserve, can all be reached with a short walk.When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities. For those driving themselves, parking is provided on site.
