A lovely hotel, great location, delicious breakfasts and friendly professional staff. The rooms were clean and a nice size. I would definitely book this hotel again.

Booked a lake view room at higher rate. While checking in, the receptionist emphasised that the room was on the top floor and there was a magnificent view. Upon entering the room it was found that the room was already occupied by somebody else.. It was obvious that someone made a mistake by allocating my room to somebody else. Was then given another room just next to the first one and was told that the view was the same. But the so-called lake view room was only a very narrow ***** of water afar. Did not complain as it was already late in the evening; planned to leave early in the next morning anyway. Not a good impression.

The room was far too hot up 4 flights of stairs. Assumed it had a lift, it didn't which obviously is down to me - won't make that assumption again. I've had three strokes so it matters. Amazing view of the park and fells. Stuck match on floor which was odd as the room was clean. Lovely bathroom and furnishings, someone has a flair in design. Bit too too far out for me, we tend to stay in town but we were going to theatre by the lake so this was super convenient.

We ere on a hiking trip and due to the weather had to make a diversion to Keswick for an overnight stop. We made the reservation via one of the many platforms available in this digital age. We arrived in our full wet weather gear and the first question was “you need to pay £6 to pay in my carpark”, we all looked at each other and then back at the receptionist and asked “does it look like we’ve arrived by car?”. We then got a lot of moaning about how bad the digital platforms are and some obscenities about them being fatherless. The rooms we were allocated were very dated and one was just inappropriate. When we asked to change that room it was a price increase immediately! But it was a portion a storm!

Extremely comfortable hotel and very well located. Just few mins walk to town centre or Derwentwater lake. I requested for a room with a big window and seating in front of that and was provided just that! Very helpful host who gave us tips in hikes. Good breakfast! Will recommend to friends

Highly recommend. Central location, friendly staff, comfy beds and amazing breakfast. Staff are helpful and attentive. The breakfast had plenty of choice and the hotels are clean. Parking is included too with your stay. Only a few minutes away from the centre.

Lovely hotel & friendly staff. Really excellent service, very much enjoyed my two night stay with a group of friends. The hotel is in an ideal location close to the town centre, only a few minutes walk from shops, restaurants, attractions & the Lake front. Wonderful to have on site parking too. Would highly recommend & definitely return when in Keswick.
