It doesn't have a metro stop nearby, the area is not the best, tucked into an alley. Room service every 3 days and no breakfast. Elevator that fits only 1 person with suitcase and goes up to the 4th floor. The fifth one was a terrace and they converted the roof into 2 rooms. From the fourth, you go up to the roof-room on foot from the stairs and loaded with your things. The room has the essentials and is generally tidy. The shower-of-course-clogged. Fortunately there is a private parking space for €5 per day. For 1, maximum 2 nights and only for some business obligation. Unacceptably expensive for what it offers, (€70-75/night for 1 person). However, animals are allowed, as can be seen from the photos...

We had a fabulous time at this lovely small hotel. We were travelling as a family of three, so wanted a bit of space, but at a fair price. Room 3A has a separate bedroom, a kitchenette and a substantial balcony, which is really great in the morning and evening. The hotel is well designed, stylish interior, nice and modern, and very clean! They also have great toiletries in the room (hair- and body wash and conditioner). Staff is super nice and helpful. The location is excellent - under 15 minutes walk to the Acropolis. There are plenty of car rental outlets just round the corner. We liked Avance - good price, friendly service. For longer distances you can take public transport. Otherwise - lots of taxis as soon as you get to the main road. Django gelato close by has amazing ice cream. We ate at Lolos twice - traditional taverna, short walk away. Lots of good coffee options nearby as well. We were not too bothered by the building site opposite, but I imagine there are different stages to it. The aircon worked just fine for us. If I had to make any comments for room for improvement - the bed is very soft. But it was manageable. In summary: Highly recommended for service with a smile, cost-benefit and location.

This place is in a fantastic neighbourhood. It’s not too touristy and all the nearby restaurant and bars are full of locals with a bustling atmosphere. Staff here were super friendly and helpful. They were able to give us great recommendations and advice whenever we asked. Everything was spotlessly clean and tidy. Bathrooms were well provisioned with toiletries. Great breakfast spread provided in the morning. Our room was next to the courtyard so I can imagine during tourist season it would be busy or noisy, but for us it was absolutely no problem.

Great location as all main tourist sites (including Kerameikos and Filopappou Hill) were walkable - also outside the main tourist area, which was a plus. Roof terrace also pleasant at the end of the day. Hotel facilities are limited: WiFi, internet tv only (on mine you had to log in with your own details), aircon, tea/coffee, free bottled water. Cold breakfast option (set price of €10 - not €8 as shown on the website). Airport pick-up is now also €50 (more than shown currently on website). Rooms modern but.mine was starting to look slightly tired. In theory it was a ‘suite’ suitable for four (two small rooms) but this would have been extremely cramped, particularly as each room had only a ‘space saver’ type wardrobe ie. wardrobe rail coming out from the wall with a mirror in front and no other storage and a sofa bed in the ‘living room’. Despite the website description of each room with (only) a power shower, mine had a shower over the bath. Service was average: front desk tried to be helpful but local knowledge was lacking. Bed was made each day, but tea/coffee/water were not refreshed and used glasses and mugs were not cleaned. Despite this, towels WERE refreshed daily and there was no option (card or other mechanism) to get this stopped. I was surprised: it seems that saving water and energy had passed the hotel by entirely. In conclusion: compared to other prices and areas of Athens I paid a reasonable amount, but given the reviews had expected more from the hotel, although I couldn’t honestly say that it was bad, just ‘average’.

Great hotel close to restaurants. Rooms were clean and very aesthetically pleasing. Transport is very accessible and it’s easy to get everywhere. Office staff were helpful and knowledgeable. No restaurant or drinks on site but there is a street vendor just outside selling drinks and snacks. Rooms were serviced daily with fresh towels and coffee.

The hotel room is small, but the location is very good. It is near the Concorde Square, and it is very convenient to take the subway and bus. Especially, there is a swimming pool and viewing platform on the top floor of the hotel, and you can have a panoramic view of the Acropolis.

Everything was perfect in this well located hotel. We travelled with a dog and they were very accommodating. The room was very comfortable, clean and with full amenities. We will definitely return soon!
