White Rocks Hotel Kefalonia

Currently staying at White Rocks, 5 days in to an 11 day holiday. Staying in sea view room, 2 adults, 1 teenager. Room very good, with lovely view. Hotel very clean. Staff very helpful & friendly (helping booking taxis and trips). Pool area only opens at 9am so no getting up hours before to get sun loungers! Pool bar great for day snacking and drinks (brought to your sun lounger). Hotel only 5/10min walk to Lassi. Road very busy but if you follow steps down to beach can avoid most of this. Taxi to Argostoli only 5/6 min journey and just 8euros.

The staff here are amazing and nothing is ever too much trouble for them to help The food is amazing and the views are to die for The pool is clean and well kept and the hotel is situated perfectly by the beach.

We are having an absolutely wonderful stay at White Rocks Hotel. The rooms are large, stylish and beautifully maintained, everything feels fresh, modern and exceptionally clean. The hotel grounds are immaculate. There are always plenty of sunbeds available around the pool area, which makes relaxing effortless. The staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. The location is excellent too, peaceful, yet just a short drive from the capital town, making it easy to explore the island. Overall, White Rocks offers a perfect mix of comfort, style, and convenience. We would highly recommend for a relaxing and memorable Greek island getaway.

This location is amazing . Paradise. Been no issue with sunbeds - had the same one all week. Had a sea view room and it is quiet, comfy and very clean. Lovely shower and bath. Breakfast is plentiful but no one making omelettes which we usually love. Can switch dinner for lunch which we did several times so we could eat out . Evening buffet food OK. A la carte very good but obviously pay extra. We took taxi to Lassi and Argostoli 8 euros each way. No pavement to walk so we didn’t do that. Need beach shoes to get into water and a snorkel is good as loads of fish. Little island to swim to. Was over 35 degrees every day but good air con in rooms. Took ferry from Argostoli to Luzouri only 3 euros and worth a trip. All in all amazing week away would Highly recommend.

Excellent location near to Platy Gialos one of the most beautiful beaches of the island. Sea in front of the hotel no need to go to other beaches. Argostoli is only 5 min drive . Go for the junior sea front suite it is spacious and with amazing sunset. Polite staff and very helpful. T

We had high hopes when booking White Rocks Hotel. The photos on the website looked amazing so we paid more than we usually do and booked a bungalow with a sea view. On arrival we had the suitcases delivered to the bungalow and I must say the view was disappointing. Not like the website at all. We could see the airport runway and the planes taking off with a side view of the sea. To pay the same price as someone who could see a sea view straight from the patio door was very irritating! The bungalow was fine except the window in the bathroom which you could look out of into the bed area. Very odd! No privacy when you came out of the shower and if the curtain was open to the patio door you would be seen by someone passing outside. Either fit a blind or have it frosted glass.. can I also suggest dressing gowns in the rooms? The sunbed queue at 9am was annoying. A rush to secure a favourite place on a sunbed, leave towels on the sunbeds then go for breakfast should be stopped. We noticed no bodies but towels for a couple of hours sometimes. Selfish! Food was fine both breakfast and dinner. Stuffed squid and calamari would have be good. The staff were lovely, very helpful. The ground’s of the hotel were steep in places but the sunsets every night, a pleasure to see. I would recommend hiring a car and seeing the real Kefalonia. Lassi is too British! Sorry but I want to see the real Greece not quiz nights in a bar & 80’s music sang by a british woman. Argostoli is much better for 8€ in a taxi. Would I recommend the hotel? Not sure to be honest. Loved the 2 days in the car going around the island. It really is a beautiful island and the scenery is stunning. Probably stay in a villa next time
