Returning guests to this hotel set in a stunning location,unfortunately not the greatest experience this time first of all we booked straight away on return last year had asked for same room (341) if possible then sent another email six days before returning and we're told effort would be made accommodate request but on arrival told room had already been allocated,thought this wouldn't have been a problem but room moved to (311) had a large pine tree right in front of window which bloked majority of sun throughout the day. Main problem with this room though is at night and the early hours of the morning as overlooks the public beach where the local youths like to party, play loud music and generally make a nuisance of themselves i know this is no fault of the hotel but they obviously know this before allocating rooms so as a returning client would have appreciated a room without so much disruption going on. Next problem was for the first half of the week in the dining room tables were left uncleared and free tables not reset with cutlery or glasses,service did get better over the period we were there, but shouldn't have been like that in the first place also trying to get service at the dining tables for a drink was not an easy experience again though eventually seemed to get better. Staff i must admit on the whole were excellent and you could see some of them seemed embarrassed about the situation unfortunately probably wouldn't return because of above experiences which is a great pity and hope some of the above remarks help management to resolve these situations.

Just back from a relaxing 2wk stay. Can't wait to return again. From arrival to departure treated as a friend not just a customer. All staff from reception to housekeeping are polite and friendly. Hotel is exceptionally clean and modern looking. Relaxing lounge and veranda with great views. Room was clean & spacious with everything you need supplied. Toiletries, bath and pool towels. Tea/coffee making facility. Safe free as were bottles of water in fridge. Bed & pillows very comfortable. All towels and sheets changed frequently. Room cleaned every day. Dining room well laid out with plenty of space between tables. Food very good choice and quality. Dining staff attentive and friendly. Great service. Poolside area cleaned every day with sun couches, large bean bags and parasols. Pool bar food and drinks good quality & value with great service. Hotel grounds are well kept and laid out with seating to enjoy the views. Private beach has sunbeds and parasols. Steep climb but worthwhile. Nearby Blue flag beach also few steps to access it. All in all a great place to stay.

Lovely hotel in a lovely part of Kefalonia. Rooms spotless with beautiful sea views, nice private beach and walkable to Lassi. Hotel staff nice and friendly, lovely grounds and good a la carte restaurant. Our fifth visit. Short hop to the airport

This is our 6th time coming to White Rocks - it is a fantastic hotel, in a lovely location. The staff are excellent and friendly the amenities are great, the pool area is lovely and the hotel is kept to a high standard. We have already booked to come back in 2026.

We have been to WR several times over the last ten years and always had a great holiday. We were rather late booking this year so there was no availability. As we had relatives staying on our recommendation we booked elsewhere but still in lassi. We joined our relatives for dinner one evening and were so disappointed with the buffet restaurant food. The salad bar was virtually empty 10 minutes after opening and while we waited for it to be filled the queue behind was huge. Sadly the salad variety was very poor and the side bowls of Feta do no longer exist. We then moved onto the live cooking area in the centre and there was about 50 slithers of tuna which was very hard as totally over cooked. Very few guests were having any (same applies to the small pieces of cod on offer) but the lady cooking continued to overload the grill with more fish thus boiling the product rather than griddling. We then went for the mains and we had small samples of most items (4 tried) and only the braised beef had some flavour. The rest had no real taste. The accompanying vegetables were overcooked broccoli and mushy cauliflower bake. The desserts are now displayed in a much smaller space and the gateau that has always been there is no longer offered. Other than a fresh fruit section the other desserts were mouse variations in a small plastic container. It reminded me of our canteen when I was working. There always used to be various cheese options opposite the hot main counter but these also are no longer available We did have a bottle of wine with our meal which was fine but the wine list starts at €35 a bottle. If you eat in the Lungomare restaurant you now only get a €10 allowance whereas last year it was €15 a head. We did eat in this a la carte restaurant last year but it was overpriced for very average food. Overall a very disappointing experience and we will now have to find a new hotel next time we visit and I will no longer be able to recommend this hotel. The rooms still have great sea views but the food was a huge part of our holiday as I had been in the catering industry for 35 years of my career. Several of them as a chef in a London five star hotel. The best food standards ever was in 2023. The chef was always in-the restaurant talking to customers

Beautiful, modern, clean hotel set in fantastic grounds with a spectacular view ( a view I’ll not forget) the food is very good you can tell this hotel uses good ingredients and the deserts WOW!! We are here early in the season so no problem finding seats in the canteen or sun beds ( the sun beds are fantastic) the staff are all hard working and very friendly, so I gave this hotel 4 stars this is because of its location I wished you could pick it up and move it closer to lassi rather than use taxis every time we left the hotel, also the grounds have lots of steps and hills which aren’t ideal, also meal times weren’t great with lots of uncleared tables or empty tables not set( people were actually clearing there own tables and setting there own tables) this is not what you expect with this type of hotel however by the end of our holiday it did seem to improve? Finally and my biggest gripe, we were half board giving you an option to swap dinner for lunch so when we chose lunch you still have to contribute money as the menu was so expensive £19 euros for a pizza😧!!! I think it should be a straight swap not paying extra cash?

We arrived a few days ago at this beautiful hotel. Since we arrived we couldn’t be happier, we have a very comfortable sea view room, the staff are charming, friendly and helpful. The facilities are great, with stunning views. The hotel is sprawled across a cliff top and we are getting our steps in just navigating the grounds, which are quite hilly. The pool area is laid out with incredibly comfortable sun loungers, down a slope there’s a beach bar and further down, a small peaceful sandy beach. This would be quite challenging for anyone with mobility issues. The buffet breakfast has a wide selection to suit all tastes. But there could be more coffee machines to avoid queuing. So happy that we have a further week to enjoy here.
