Die Einfahrt des Hotels machte einen gu Campement Yadis Ksar Ghilane ten Eindruck und auch unser Zelt fand ich erstmal nicht schlecht. Gut, vergleichbar mit Tansania oder Indien ist es nicht, aber nachdem es um diese Uhrzeit kein Licht im Hotel gab und die Augen sich langsam an die Dunkelheit des Zeltes gewöhnt hatten, war doch einiges nicht mehr so toll. Das Bad ist nicht nur sehr spartanisch sondern auch dreckig und desolat. Die Lampen über dem Bed verdreckt und obwohl die Wände gemauert sind gibt es keine Haken und die Möglichkeit etwas aufzuhängen. Das Kopfkissen haben wir mit einem Handtuch umwickelt da es sicherlich nicht frisch war. Man könnte hier vieles besser machen, aber in erster Linie das ganze warten und nicht verkommen lassen. Cleaning an erster Stelle. Frühstück spartanisch Abendessen war ok aber lauwarm Es ist schade wenn etwas verkommt, den das Konzept ist gut.

Visiting Ksar Ghilane, an oasis in southern Tunisia, out of nowhere and famous for its hot spring, we settled in the Yadis camp. My goodness, the welcome was very nice and the staff was very attentive, as well as the owner of the place, Mr. Karim. The atmosphere was friendly, the entertainment in the evening with folk singing and then the cooking of local bread in the embers were fantastic moments. The only weak point in this place: the catering. I find that on this side there is a lot to do. The restaurant is dilapidated, the service is mediocre despite the goodwill of the waiters and the dishes and products are not good. A great effort should be made on the part of the management to remedy this. Overall, we can do better.
