I recently stayed at the Giman Free Hotel and had a unique experience. This hotel is truly isolated, far away from civilization, making it a perfect spot for introverts or those looking for solitude.
While the hotel itself is clean, it is clear that some renovations are needed to update the facilities. However, the staff more than makes up for any shortcomings with their friendliness and willingness to accommodate guests.
The restaurant at the hotel surprised me with its delicious food, which I found to be better than what I have experienced at some five-star hotels in Sri Lanka. The beach near the hotel is clean.
However, the downside of the beach which is very wild and long is the amount of garbage and plastic that washes up on the shore. Since the beach is deserted it was disheartening to see all the pollution scattered along the shoreline.
Overall, if you are seeking a quiet retreat away from the hustle and bustle of city life, the Giman Free Hotel is a great option. Just be prepared for a bit of roughness around the edges of the beach.

Две недели отдыхали в отеле. Большая благодарность персоналу. Все очень отзывчивые, помогали с любыми вопросами. Большая благодарность менеджеру Бабу. Он лучший. Отель в лесу. Тишина и спокойствие. Море несколько дней было грязным, но это не вина отеля. Мы попросили и навели порядок на берегу. Не было больших волн и купаться с детьми было здорово. Пляжа у отеля нет. Выход из калитки в лесу сразу в море. Рядом с отелем нет вообще ничего. Номера уставшие, но для нас было не важно. И в целом всё на любителя. Нам понравился отдых.

We had an amazing family stay at Giman Free Resort. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the kids loved the pool. "Giman Free Beach Resort is a hidden gem! The untouched beauty of the location, with its coral reefs and shallow waters, is breathtaking. The rooms are cozy and well-maintained, and the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The beach is perfect for swimming and snorkeling, and we had an amazing time exploring the underwater world. The food was delicious, and the overall experience was unforgettable

Loved every moment here! The location is perfect, with the beach just a few steps away. Great food, comfy beds, and wonderful service. Highly recommend for a relaxing vacation. The breakfast buffet was delicious and had a lot of variety. Definitely coming back!

Nice Eco Resort with safe beach for a bath.Very comfortable beds, with large washing areas. Its in the middle of the jungle with lots of nature. Great seafood, fresh days catch is served according to your wish. We liked the Jaffna crab curry that we got for us. Ideal location for nature lovers, photography and underwater lovers. One of the best places to relax, no one to bother you on the beach. Long beach walks and trekking at your will.

Beautifully located hotel on the beach in a quiet location. Clean, spacious rooms with a sea view. Staff goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Food was good and available to order at any time. Swimming pool is big and clean. The only drawback is that there is a lot of washed up plastic on the beach
