The facilities are a bit old, but it's not a big problem. The stay is not bad. The soundproofing of the house is a bit poor, and the movement of the neighbors will cause noise. The most unsatisfactory thing is the breakfast. It costs extra but there is only bread, cereal and milk. I personally think it's a rip-off. Everything else is ok

Very disappointed! Only plus was a short walk to Echo point & a small chocolate cafe. Arrived & no one in sight at reception. After some time I called the hotel number. Host had gone into town but left no note. After 20 minutes, we got a dump of a room. Tiny room like a dorm, uncomfortable double bed & pillow. We paid $170 AUD! Hotel gives pics of several nice looking rooms for much less. Breakfast included was a joke. Large unheated room, cereal, coffee, bread, apples & yogurt. Worse than a skimpy US breakfast.

We stayed 5 days (4 nights) and could not fault any service. The owner Ron was available 24/7 and went out of his way to make our stay comfortable. The locality is very central to everything. Rooms are very clean and with underground parking very handy. Continental breakfast was excellent. We recommend this accommodation.

Clean and tidy but they could be better.
This hotel is is a good location, just minutes from anywhere around here. The rooms are partially renovated and could be much better with a bit more work.

Average but cheap enough.
The room was large and comfy. The bathrooms have been updated which was nice.
My my concern is the walls are so thin you can hear everything that’s happening in the room beside you… including using the toilet.
At check in I had to wait for 20 mins for the reception guy to return as “he’d stepped out for a few minutes (at 2:20 when check-in just opened). I tried calling the number provided but reception ****** and I couldn’t hear him.
Sauna was good. Spa pool empty and not operational which was a real shame.
$10 breakfast is very simple. A few cereal options and toast.
No barista coffee
Bar was closed the whole time
Room had nothing in the way of amenities for eating. We had to buy bowls to eat our breakfast.
However having said all that… it was considerably cheaper than most other options so if you’re after economy over luxury this may work for you. I would consider staying again depending on my budget at the time.

Room was basic but comfortable and clean. Small bar fridge and table with 2 chairs. Lovely shower. Close to main attractions and on good bus route. Toast and spread for breakfast included as well as cereal and an apple. Host at front desk very pleasant.

Poor performance
The place itself was Ok but when I arrived early they upsold me to a King Room for an extra $10, which they increased to $11. There were no instructions for wifi access even though they advertised 24 hour. Wifi. Later ********** emailed a wifi code but again no instructions on how to access. The email from ********** said I had booked a King Room, not the Queen Room they claimed I originally booked. I fed this back to them and they said if you prove you booked king room we'll refund the $10 (not the $11 they charged me. They refused to accept my feedback on the wifi. International practice is they have a sheet in the room. Also, the reception was unattended when I left 20 minutes. After checking so there was no one to ask. Poor performance

I read some reviews which were critical of this hotel. I am surprised and think that some people have nothing better to do than complain over the most trivial and unimportant matters. We found the hotel very comfortable and clean. The bathroom looked newly renovated. The undercover parking was excellent. There was adequate staff. The continental breakfast was included and was perfectly acceptable. I have nothing to complain about.
