The staff are very friendly.
I stayed here for the first two nights after arriving in Nepal. I moved around a bit after that, but when I came back to Kathmandu, I wanted to use this hotel again, so I made a reservation again.

There was a very friendly staff, an amazing location, and I loved the services provided here: Wifi, Landury, and the kitchen facility. I recommend this hotel for all kinds of travelers, solo, couples, and even families.

The staff carried my luggage.
There was also a chai service!
The place is a little hard to find, but I got there safely!
I had made a reservation for Chitwan International Park, and they worked well together.
I was able to charge my iPhone.

The Bakpackers hotel kathmandu: great shower, single room really good, clean. Staff very cool. They provide extra services like laundry, printer, etc. It is a simple but very good for the price charged, I do recommend it.

If anyone wants to book it please don't do it. They first took our money and denied to check us in telling that their rooms are already full. When we tried to tell the thing to our booking they tried to contact the hotel. The hotel staff just told them the reverse thing. They waited for us. Just imagine the kind of harrasment we have faced with family of ladies and old person and with handicapped brother of mine. And the worst thing is after knowing our situation very clearly they even didn't sent us their location as we wanted to talk to them personally. They just refused to co-operate. This is how they behave with persons from other countries. So anybody when going for booking this hotel please think twice.

I have stayed at the Bagpacker Hostel for the past 10 years. The rooms have always been clean tge bath rooms very clean with plenty of hot water. The food is well prepared and very good. The owner Krishna and his wife have always treated us like family and has helped us arrange transportation.
