The hotel is located in a very good location. The water is clean and clear white. But on the day we went, there were quite a lot of Indian customers, so it was a bit noisy all around. This time I've come for the second time. I like that the bedsheets are clean. Recommend, recommend.

This hotel is iright in the middle of the heart of Thamel. The best is not only the outlook of it, the hospitality is something that counts, the doorbell would run to help us when we had luggages to carry, with warm smiling face, those staff that serve us breakfast was very helpful, they made us like we were at home. The front desk was good too, and the manager was great, he was helpful to all our needs, and more important, not practical at all!
We were there for 3 visits, so we had tried 6 different rooms in this trip, all of them were good without complaint. We highly recomend this new hotel.

All the staff at Hotel Ama - La were very welcoming & friendly throughout our stay. The hotel was very clean & the rooms very tastefully decorated & comfortable. Toiletries, tea & coffee facilities & bottles of water added to the comfort! The location of the hotel was excellent - close to money changing facilities, nice restaurants & a good range of shops!

This hotel is in the heart of the Thamel, walking distance to Narayanhiti palace, Pubs,Cafe , Monkey temple and other landmarks in Kathmandu. We enjoyed our stay here, price was reasonable, location was great, rooftop bar in the evening is relaxing to unwind long day of sightseeing. Clean, hygeinic, service was great, morning buffet breakfast was limited but have great options. We were well looked after during our stay. Highly recommened.

Genuinely feel very happy in this hotel. Staff was very polite and helpful. Very good service and amazing food. Located in main hubs of thamel. I will definitely comeback in this hotel with my family.

Stayed twice at this hotel and although in the centre of bustling Thamel it offers a quiet and clean place to stay. The photographer creating the hotel’s depiction has been somewhat creative to enhance the look of the place and the breakfast is ample but basic as you would expect of a budget hotel. Nevertheless, this hotel is clean, ideally suited for exploring Thamel and wider Kathmandu and the young team of staff are extremely polite, helpful and engaging.

Booked this little hotel right in Centre of Thamel for 2 nights. What a perfect find! Only been open since last year, spotlessly clean, great rooftop terrace, and the best shower on our trip! The staff are amazing - friendly and kind. Location is perfect right in the thick of things. Would definitely recommend!
