The hotel is in the old city area, with People's Square and the park just around the corner, which is very convenient for those who want to pay homage to Chairman Mao's memorial statue. It costs less than 40 yuan to take a taxi from Kashgar Railway Station to the hotel, and it takes about 10 minutes to walk slowly to Kashgar Old City, Khan Bazar and other places. The hotel is a chain hotel in Xinjiang and is quite good. There are also travel agencies settled in the hotel, which is very convenient for reporting local tours. The hotel upgraded the suite for this stay. It is a bit difficult for people with short legs to get out of the bathtub. It would be better if a handrail could be installed next to it. The breakfast is very rich, and the children said that the yogurt is delicious. The only shortcoming is that some plates and spoons are not very clean, and I hope it can be improved.

This is my favorite hostel in Casgo Castle. I cleaned the traditional house and sent it without any inconvenience. The hostel host was also active and friendly.

We stayed two nights separated by one night in Tashkurgan.The best part of the first day was spent locating an agent to provide a car and driver to Tashkurgan. My wife and me were sent to the Kashgar Tourist centre beyond the airport to apply for a Border Travel Permit to Tashkurgan and astonished to find the place closed being Sunday 24th June. Staff at the reception were all friendly and enthusiastic. Only two lifts served both Orange and Mercure which were inadequate. Mercure provides free pick up and sent from anf to airport but requires 4 hours advance confirmation. We requested sent off to airport for 1005 flight to Chengu. Staff confirmed reservation for two leaving at 0800 which is too early for breakfast at hotel. So an arrangement was made for wake up call, picnic boxes to takeaway. On 26th morning, the short bald old man probably working as bell boy scolded me why I am alone at the lobby at 0752 and that there are other guests waiting in the car. Fully seated by 0755, we discovered that the rush was to pick up another passenger for the one remaining seat in the 7- seater! We had to travel west to Tianshan road, pick up the last passenger at Hanting Hotel before making east and north to Kashgar Airport. The experience totally spoilt my day, wiped out any good feeling or impression with Mercure and never mind about the promised packed breakfast boxes.

Environment: routine! The city view room is not an ancient city view room, but a modern city view room. The sign lights outside the window will not go out at night! Services and facilities: 1. The breakfast coupons were not printed enough, but I found out the next day that no breakfast coupons were needed! 2. The room card was not prepared enough. I asked for a second room card, but there was none. 3. The photography shop downstairs is full of tricks, saying it’s x number of negatives and x number of refined photos. But they won’t give you raw files (they call them original films and charge a few hundred yuan), nor will they give you extra shots (for example, if you take x+10 pictures). You will be charged a fee to give you extra shots but no retouching ( They say they don’t promise “shoot more and send more”). 4. The glass of the observation elevator is so dirty!

The cleanliness is really impeccable, the bed sheets and quilt covers are all new, and the bathroom is spotless, making my stay very safe. The atmosphere of the youth hostel is super great. In the evening, everyone gathered together to play board games and laugh constantly. It felt like I was back in my student days.

Very good hotel, there is a very rich breakfast, this price is very cost-effective. The hotel is very luxuriously decorated, the details are full, the clothes hanging clothes and the prompt sign inform the location of the laundry room. The front desk lady service is also very good, we will say hello when we enter and exit the hotel, and feel like home.

The hotel is in a very good location with convenient transportation, just across the wall from the West District of Kashgar Ancient City. The room is clean and hygienic, the bed is tidy and comfortable, and the facilities are complete and useful. Overall the experience was great.
