Overall it was good

The location is a bit remote, and there are not many people bathing in the hot springs. It is very comfortable, but the hotel is very unique and has a traditional hot spring feel. The hotel staff are very friendly. When I walked to the front desk, the staff immediately served us. 👍

The hot springs are great. There are separate hot springs for men and women 24 hours a day. You can take a dip if you want. You can also reserve an open-air bath for families or couples to enjoy together. It's a pity that the transportation is not convenient. If you don't drive by yourself, You have to wait for the bus to go to the city or surrounding attractions

The hot spring hotel is on the snowy mountain. We only need 2,500 yen by taxi from Karuizawa Ginza. I was a little worried after reading other reviews that it was old, but we found that it was not the case when we arrived. We had a very good experience. Credit cut wind Lu scenery is very good👍🏻 and the room has a terrace where you can directly see the snow-capped mountains. The Japanese-Western room we live in is very new.

I used to stay there once a year. This is the only place where you can take a natural hot spring bath in Karuizawa. And it's quiet, so close your eyes to others. However, this time there is a limit. I wanted Shinshu Discount to be applied, but there was no information at the time of phone reservation or at the local front desk. I forgot to ask when I was checking out, so when I called when I got home, I was told, "The customer should tell me." I was treated without even apologizing for the lack of service. The dinner here is terrible, so I stay only for breakfast, but this time the breakfast was also changed to a very simple one. The miso soup was smaller in size and the omelette which was the only thing I enjoyed about the dish was missing. It's a shame because the hot water is good. but I won't go there anymore. The Shinshu Wari support is just a trigger, and like the people who write here, it's true that the room is old and musty, and the wall next door can't hear the sound. It's really the worst that you don't want to go because the service is terrible.

I went to Kose Onsen Hotel, which has many dry reviews on tripadvisor. The exterior is quite austere and feels like an adult inn. I felt uneasy about reviews of reasonable rooms and chose a standard room. The room is on the second floor and there are not too many stairs, but it is not easy to climb, so it is difficult for the elderly. I would like an elevator. The room is certainly dusty, some of the sliding doors are old, and the shoji paper is torn. Because no heating worked properly, there was not any problem. The washroom is also new, and the toilet is also a washlet. There are some things like the musty smell and the futon, but there is no problem with the futon, and there is an air purifier, so the air doesn't feel dirty. For hot springs, we went to a private open-air bath first. Hmm... go down to the 1st floor, go up the stairs a bit, and go upstairs again... so this is making an old man cry again. The hot spring is hot, but has an oily smell and is slightly thick. The view is nice, so it's comfortable. However, the time limit from borrowing the key to returning it is 40 minutes, which is rather short, so I am worried about the time and feel restless all the time. Moreover, the next day it can only be used for 30 minutes ... I want you to do something about this. By the way, there are two private open-air baths, one of which is rumored to be lukewarm, but when I checked in the lobby, I was told that both the indoor and open-air baths are set to the same temperature. I think that the people at the inn are probably the type who likes hot water. The next day, I went to the indoor bath, but I wondered if the indoor bath was more comfortable because it was fresher and had a stronger oily smell than the outdoor bath. It is said that there is a hot spring in the room, but even if the temperature is set higher, only lukewarm water comes out. I don't think the hot spring water comes out warm because the source is hot, but I was surprised to find that black water comes out after running it for a while. As expected, it's not the oil from the source, is it? Either way, even I, who likes lukewarm water, didn't feel like going in. If it's not a hot spring, there's no point in entering. The meal is a course meal that you eat with chopsticks, so we chose a higher-grade course. The meat was delicious, but other than that, I didn't have much of an impression. Wait for a while until the food arrives. The main feature of this inn is still insects! It seems to be a bell worm when I see it. I thought they were cute bugs because they were harmless... At first, there was one in the room and one in the bathroom, but as time went on, they started to multiply. I really don't know where it comes from. Before going to bed, I checked 4 of them, and they sometimes make a jumping sound, so I was worried about the sound, so I put on earplugs and slept. By the way, this bug is everywhere, even in the corridors and in the changing rooms of the indoor baths. Suzumushi Heaven. I'm sure the people at the inn have given up on temporary measures. Only the hot spring was good, but I felt that it was a wasteful inn. I think the price is a little high, but when it comes to renovating the inn and taking measures against insects, you have to pay a high price. By the way, if you stay at the Oze Onsen Hotel, the toll road will be free, so it is recommended to go to Shiraito Falls on your way home.
