Nice and relaxing stay, but above all very warm and helpful people! Small, f asmily run hotel, located next to one of the best sandy beachs (walking distance) of Karpathos. Beautiful views, quiet with an interesting approach in serving breakfast. Fresh local ingredients and a surprise dish every morning. Family who runs the hotel are exceeding their self to assist you in everything you wish or need. For me this is their biggest and most important way of running this business. Thank you for offering me your lovely local tree/plant. It is already joining my other plants in the garden and will always remind me of your great hospitality Mrs. Maria and Mr. Michalis and of course your children!

Potrei definire con tanti aggettivi positivi la nostra permanenza in questa struttura da voi gestita. Ma nessuno renderebbe bene come siamo stati Non é la gentilezza, che pure abbonda, né la simpatia , tanta ne avete avuta con noi, neanche pazienza, moltissima nel cercare di capirci , ma é qualcosa di più : é la cura …dai dettagli della struttura a quella umana della persona….un umanità rara ! I hope you have ever experienced the feeling: you just arrive at Althea, sit down on the terrace, listen to the silence, your eyes can hardly capture the beauty of the sea and the landscape, the teasing water of the pool and then you know, yes, I am at the right place... This is what we felt every day during our stay at Althea. What you see: two beautiful beaches in front of you, 100 shades of blue, honest smiles from the staff and a hospitality from Maria and Iorgosz, as if you would be some distant family member on visiting them. What you don't see: crowd, fight for the sunbeds, hurry, disorder. We have rented a car for our full stay, so the daily routine was quite easy: excellent breakfast in the morning, before noon roll down to the beach, take a swim at the pebble one then take another swim at the sandy one, back to the pool, enjoy a great ice cappucino, light lunch, stay around and swim at the pool sipping a perfect Aperol Spritz made by Pandeli and in the evening either dine around in the local very good restaurants or go to Pigadia (a max 10 minutes drive) to discover some excellent restaurants there as well. From Althea everything is in a reachable distance: Diakofti, Pigadia, Kyra Panagia and even Lefkos is not more than a daily excursion. We had a real tranquil, relaxing, battery-charging holliday, as we have dreamed of.

Αποτελεί ένα πραγματικό κόσμημα στην πολύ όμορφη περιοχή της Αμοοπής με θέα στο πέλαγος. Η αξιόλογη οικογένεια των ιδιοκτητών που το διαχειρίζεται εξασφαλίζει μια ονειρική παραμονή στους επισκέπτες σε άριστο συνδυασμό , όμορφου περιβάλλοντος , άψογου service, νόστιμου πρωινού. Τα καθαρά , όμορφα διαμορφωμένα δωμάτια , με πλήρη εξοπλισμό , το άνετο parking και η εύκολη πρόσβαση αποτελούν πρόσθετους θετικούς παράγοντες για μια άνετη και ευχάριστη διαμονή . Ο χώρος της πισίνας και των γευμάτων με τα όμορφα bar ,συμπληρώνουν το τέλειο σκηνικό.

We hadden hoge verwachtingen op basis van de vele goede reviews en die zijn zeker overtroffen. Gunstige locatie aan rustige toegangsweg tot Amoopi. Voldoende parkeergelegenheid. Topontvangst. Ruime, goed uitgeruste kamers met ruim balkon en zicht op zee. Superschoon. Geweldig ontbijt en zeer servicegerichte staf. Heerlijke plek voor relaxte vakantie.
