2-Star Hotels in Karlovy Vary

Very satisfied, the reception service is good, the price is super good, it is a place where there is no place to eat nearby, you have to go far. But many hikers, dense forests, very clean places.

The room is a large suite with a nice view. The photos were taken in the room or on the balcony of the room. There are parking spaces, but not too much. The front desk of the hotel is going out, and there is a small road that is the road to the observatory. It overlooks the panorama of the town and visitors are scarce.

Das Hotel Boston liegt in der schönen Karlsbader Altstadt ganz nah angebunden durch eine Treppe mit der schönen Flaniermeile nahe des Goethe-Cafés und des öffentlichen Geysirs. Der Empfang des etwas in die Jahre gekommenen Hotels war freundlich und unser Zimmer gefiel uns gut. Es gab keinen Wasserkocher im Zimmer, aber auf Nachfrage an der Rezeption wurde uns Wasser zur Teezubereitung gekocht. Das Frühstück wurde in Buffetform serviert und recht einfach gehalten. Es war kein Luxus-Hotel, trotzdem fanden wir es etwas witzig, dass die Dame, die den Frühstücksservice machte, dies in grauer Jogginghose tat. Preis-Leistung war sehr gut. Die Dusche war undicht und es gab kein Duschgel.

The hotel is old and has a very warm charm about it. However, my room felt incredibly dated, almost as if I was living in 1980. One complaint I have is related to my bathroom. When I arrived there was a sanitary seal wrapped around the toilet bowl which said that the toilet had been cleaned and sanitized. When I went to remove it, I found piss already in the toilet. It didn't make for a good first impression after a long day of traveling. There's also no AC in the hotel and it was incredibly hot. There really should have been fans/small AC units in the rooms as the heat was quite brutal. The restaurant is OK, but it is on the highest floor and is certainly the warmest part of the hotel. Windows being open did nothing. Again, fans/small AC units really should have been here. I also had many many problems with the WiFi; sometimes it worked well, other times not at all. It was really frustrating. That being said, the location is absolutely perfect for wandering around Karlovy Vary, but getting to it and leaving from it with luggage is a total pain as the road is not accessible for cars.
